Great Arduino starter kit
I purchased this to teach myself (and hopefully the kids) some basic Arduino programming. This kit has it all! There are all kinds of parts and motors and lights and servos to make all sorts of projects. Great value for someone starting out.

Great starter kit, decent examples.
This kit is a great starter kit for someone just learning Arduino, but you'll likely want to order lots of separate components to build your own cool projects as soon as you make it through these examples.I didn't get any CD with this package, but there was a business card with a website where I found all the examples and some data sheets. The data sheets contained some items which weren't in the package and a few data sheets were missing for some of the parts, but overall I got more data than i really needed to make it work. The examples were easy enough to read through, but I also have years of coding and basic circuit-building experience, so I basically knew how everything worked already and the examples were simple enough for me to follow. Total beginners may need to learn more about how electronic components work, etc before starting. The breadboard is decent enough for several projects and I was able to work through all the examples easily enough once I downloaded them from the website. The jumpers have been more than sufficient, but I'll eventually be buying more for the other projects I have in mind. All of the parts work fine with good enough quality to do what they were designed to do, and I had a lot of fun working through the examples on a day off.The arduino itself seems solid and well-built as well, and I have no complaints about it. It did everything I needed and still works great for whatever I want to do in the future. I plan on buying several other versions of similar arduino-ish things for future projects, so it will be one of many lying around.

Would buy again and again
I am happy enough with these kits that this was my 3rd time purchasing. Kids have repaired and modified some of their devices. The kits have a great assortment of parts and were worth the price just for the game controllers and a major appliance in our house we were able to repair. All parts we've used so far have worked as they should and the kits have inspired some pretty creative and useful mods. With a few add in parts and free info online we were able to design an automated hub for my greenhouse that would cost me several hundred dollars.

All kinds of goodies.
I bought this for the arduino board. It’s a different brand but it’s a arduino uno clone and operates as such when programming. Worked for my project.

Awesome desk toy
I don't even own a CD rom drive, so I don't know what comes on the CD. I just got on the arduino web IDE and started playing around, and have had a lot of fun playing with all the sensors and gizmos. Glad I bought this. Well worth the money.

Not Beginner Friendly
It’s a great product for those who have some background in electronics already, but for beginners wanting to start a new hobby, it’s not as straightforward as some other kits. It does not provide descriptions of each element or what they do, nor does it include beginner projects or an IDE for the microcontroller. It is favorable though to those who enjoy tinkering and figuring out how things work.
