It's OK
Not very heavy duty and no screw to hold it closed was included with the one I got.

Did not arrive working, had to fix.
When I loaded this up with fully charged batteries, it did not output power- even with the switch on. I tested with a multi-meter repeatedly and got no output.I ended up having to open it up and re-solder it, which was fine for me since I have these tools. Also note that if you're trying to use this as a guitar pedal power system, it is + tip, which means you'd have to reverse the polarity of the connector for it to work with your pedals (this is a separate issue from the above problem).I will say, once you have it working it's pretty neat though! They just need to improve quality control.

Good replacement for a 9v battery, but could use one more feature
I put 6 AA batteries in this box and it can come close to 9v. I'm using rechargeables to they lose a little voltage if they sit a bit too long. I presume that high quality 9v alkaline batteries will get up to or close to 9v.There is one drawback, at least for me. I want to use where for guitar pedals which requires the polarity to be reversed. So I cut the wires and flipped the clipped end so that the polarity would be the opposite of how the box came. If I were more with it I would have flipped the polarity inside the box rather than clipping wires.WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD HAVE DONE was included a polarity switch, whiich would have made it pretty much universal. They did included an on/off switch, which IMO could easily be replaced as a polarity switch are you really don't *need* on/off on the box if you just unplug it. JMO
