I love this! Not only is it classy-looking, but it’s also fun and definitely a conversation starter. A friend of mine noticed a small issue, where I think the flag or the outline shape of a country he visited didn't exist, and it’s not a disputed territory but it is fairly small. I want to preface this to say that I have bought THREE previous scratch off maps, all popular and with great reviews. I’m a little picky because I live on a small oft-overlooked island. One of the three prior maps I purchased had the island chain but not specifically named. When I stumbled across this map, I was intrigued by the advertised quality and the space at both the top and bottom where I could frame it without covering anything up. However, it was missing the islands I wanted to see! I emailed customer service to ask and received a very prompt reply saying that they would include that in the next edition and let me know when it came out. A few months later, I received an email from them with a link to the updated map, which I purchased. I did not receive a discount of any kind so that’s not why I’m writing this review. I’m writing it because, from customer service, to shipping, to product quality—this item is exceptional.Of my now 4 scratch-off maps I’ve purchased, this one is easily the best. It easy to scratch off with clear lines and text. The flags are also aligned well and do not look messy. The material—omg the material! It has a thick water-resistant quality to it so that when I was done scratching off the map and dusting off the gold flakes, I was able to WIPE IT DOWN with a damp cloth for a perfect finish. Couldn’t do that with the other three maps (though one advertised I could).My only tiny complaint is it didn’t come with a tool to scratch off the map with so I used a guitar pick, which worked well. I contacted customer service initially about that and they replied within hours to apologize for the error and to ask for my address to send one out. Didn’t need it after all, but I appreciated the quick reply.If I were to give any advice (besides buy this map!), it would be to frame it in an actual frame and not waste your money on a magnetic poster frame like I have. The cover comes off easily when scratched so careful when setting items on top. Going to give one to my friend who likes to travel. It has a good thickness and nice sheen. I really recommend a frame for this map to keep it straight and safe from random scratches.

My husband and I love traveling the world. I wanted something to keep track of our adventures, that also was a nice display to visitors of our home. The size of the map is awesome and exactly what was described, it is so easy to hang and scratch off, and the colors are vivid and the gold is beautiful! For the value of money, I would recommend this over and over to others who want something similar! It came in with no scratches (unlike a prior brand I bought) and left me to get the fun of scratching off the countries we have visited!

I bought the 24x36 size and it's a fantastic way to see your travels! I'm mounting mine on foam core and have bought colored map pins so each of our family has a color to track theirs.I love the colors hiding under the gold for each country. The scraper (looks kind of like a guitar pick) is easy to use.The flags at the bottom make it easy to count how many countries we've visited - and to see how many more we need to explore. This was exactly what I was hoping for!

Upon arrival, it looks absolutely amazing! I got it for my sister has a birthday present but now I want one for myself to motivate me to start traveling more! The paper it’s very thick and good quality. I’m very excited to get a frame for it!
