Take batteries out when not in use.
Works great for the price. Don't leave batteries in it. It will drain them. I also noticed in few images the red sensor light was on my subject.

This flash is working well with mi Nikon D7500.
I have another Yonguo for a Canon, and both are working well. The light is to much powerful, so it is necessary to rotate the flash a lot. It demands some time to learn how to calibrate it, but after it, no issues.

Works flawlessly with Nikon
I've used these speedlights for weddings and events and they work flawlessly. Although I shoot about 70% in manual mode, when I need TTL the flash units provide it. I use several of these and also own multiple 560 iiis. Very well built and after 10 years of use the 560s are still going strong. I'm sure the 565s will be the same. Definitely recommended.
