Have used it for more than 2 years on my terrace where it is open to hot summers and torrential rains. Has worked for every single night. Motion sensor is perfect too. Will buy one more for the stairway.

poorly designed product.1. The connecting cable is exposed and can short the wires in rain.2. cable length is not adequate3. connectors are very delicate and may break if one disconnects and connects the cable few times4. Solar led lamp ( bottom portion) cannot be fixed permanently, it has to be hung on a screw like a photo frame. Due to this, it can be taken away by someone. To avoid the lamp being stolen, if installed above 8 feet height the sensor will not work and lamp will not turn on.

Usage period: 2 weeks+Easy to install. Works well. The dim light is a tad too dim. The bright mode when you move near it is really good.Comes on and goes off automatically. Considering getting two more of these.Suggestion: It would be nice to have a switch for disabling the motion sensor and letting it stay in the Bright mode at all times. I'm searching for a solar lamp with that feature right now.--------UPDATE: 4 monthsThe product stopped working for 2 days. I sent an email and got a call from IFITech within an hour with a resolution that worked. Purchased 2 more pieces.New item: The first has a bluish tinge when on. The motion sensor range seems to be better too. Second item on the way.Suggestion: Still hope to get one with a switch to disable the motion sensor.-------UPDATE: 2 yearsI have purchased 3 of these.Unit 1: Works perfect. Installed where many do not pass. Have to reset the unit once every 4 months.Unit 2: Works perfect. Installed where substantial people move around.Unit 3: Works just for 2-3 hours. Installed by the road where many people pass.Ensure you wash the dirt off the solar panel regularly. Overall satisfied with the product.

* The light is bright and good for small gates and walkways* The MOTION DETECTOR is good and brightens the light when it detects people* Build quality is DECENT but not great.MAJOR DISADVANTAGE is that the position of the solar pannel. I have tried placing this light in three different locations and it still wouldn't charge properly. The pannel is mounted in such a way that sunlight hits the pannel only rarely and it not enough to give full charge.Proceed with caution. But I wouldn't recommend you put money into this product.

Received the item in perfect condition (thanks to amazon).° Works as described, straight out from package.° The dim light is enough for my purpose, a guide light to the darkest area around my house.ISSUES FACED: Installation° The two screws provided were not useful.° The hanging hole in device is closer to the base, so can't just hang it from there. The whole device will tilt forward due to its own weight. And this can cause water to reach the inside of the device.° So I installed it in my own way, so that I can remove it easily from where it is installed now, within seconds.For those who cannot think out of the box like me, they can just hang the light using a smaller screw, using the screw hole on top of the light.----------- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ----------It serves my purpose, starts lighting up from 6:50 pm automatically. But I just turn it off at 11pm and take it inside when I go out to lock my front gate.

I was searching for a light for my terrace. That is when I found this solar light on Amazon search. Reading the reviews I thought I will just give it a try. I ordered the first one in March and it has been awesome. Installation was super easy, it automatically switches on and off at night (in dim mode). The sensor works as expected and turns on whenever I open the terrace door. I had put it on the right side of the window as that wall receives the most sunlight. I was so happy with it that I ordered another one for the left side 😊.Pros:• Easy to install.• Very responsive.• You just install and forget about it.Cons:• On overcast days, it doesn't charge much and hence completely stops working at night. This is kind of a bummer. Will check out how it works during the rainy season. This also means one cannot solely depend only on these lights.• It does stop if you stand absolutely still for more than 20-25 seconds. Hence, it is not suited for places where you need constant light.• During storms the light detects motion and starts on/off 😂 Not a con but though.Conclusion: Value for money, eco friendly, doesn't require wire work. Suited for places where you don't need constant light. I would recommend this. 👍🏻

Bought this product last month . Its good on Style, design, and compatibility parameters.How ever when it comes to performance i will say that i felt absolutely cheated .I have been keeping it in my garden throughout the day so that it gets maximum sunlight how ever the charge does not lasts for more than 10 - 20 mins.I am surprised to see so many god reviews of this product here . However the unit shipped to me was dismal and a complete waste of money .Wont recommend any one to fall for this .
