This product is a great value. The paint quality is great, covers in one coat. The tip sharpness is angled to allow for wide, fine and ultra fine painting and writing - making this the only paint pen you need - for painting, writing and outlining. It was easy to start, cap clicks on tightly, comes off easy, preserving paint. Low to no odor, which is important to me.

I purchased this as a gift and the quality and the value for money is amazing. Very satisfied.

I used to have a set of Faber Castell pencils for sketching that came with a nylon? pencil case, a pencil sharpener, etc. so thought I would try ordering this set, in case it was the same (about 10 years later). The pencils are great, and I would give them 5 stars as sketching pencils. Very smooth and nice range of values from H's through B's. The zippered pencil case, however, feels flimsy. There is almost a papery feel to the fabric. It's nice that it has a clip to fasten to a bag or lanyard, but I have a feeling it won't last too long. The pencil case is listed as made in China. Not the eraser or pencils, which are made elsewhere. I miss the older pencil cases with the embroidered logos on them. These shipped in a paper mailer, but arrived in good shape. The set has a good little white eraser and a sort of average plastic pencil sharpener (specifically for sharpening this regular size of pencil, not the jumbo-sized Faber Castell drawing pencils you can buy elsewhere). Probably a good buy for beginners or people who want to try this brand and would appreciate a set that can all go in a pencil case and travel with them.

Love that this came with so many options for the lead of the pencils. Allowing you to be able to do more greyscale sketches with the variations of pencils. The pencil sharpener and eraser are also a great addition as you never really know how much both are needed until you start sketching and don’t have some. So it’s great not to have to worry about buying some right off the bat

Great for art class and great price

The pencils are great and definitely worth the money. It's great for both beginners and advanced sketchers, but I would much prefer using these once you got the basics of sketch. But just be warned that all 12 aren't the same. Some pencils have the same graphite grade/lead. Nice sketch pencils overall.
