Poor quality control.
Parts I and II of the W.I.T.C.H. graphic novels have been fantastic. Starting with Vol. 1 of Part III, though, I noticed some of the speech bubbles are mixed up. Something one girl says is a response to something that same girl said in the scene before, as if the text were inserted incorrectly. For instance, at one point Cornelia says to move away from this magical fire. The actual text has Will responding, "I'm not afraid of getting singed, Cornelia!" when actually Cornelia was talking to Orube. The text then has Orube saying, "We're leaving and you're coming with us" (which only makes sense coming from Will), followed by a box in which Orube responds, "A warrior never flees a battle!" Essentially, the designers/writers/editors/whatever mixed Will's and Orube's text bubbles. There was but one instance of this in Part II Vol. 1 but I have found similar mistakes in Part II Vol. 2. I hope this doesn't continue in the later parts. Furthermore, there is a page towards the middle of Vol. 2 that is blurry. The pictures I attached don't do it justice but you can kind of see how the adjacent page is more crisp - that isn't just because the camera was focused on the other page. The left page really is hazy, but the text is still clear. One of the pages towards the end (front and back) cuts off the top of the speech bubbles. I'm hoping this is a fluke and the other copies are perfectly fine. The other star I knocked off was because the used copy I bought was "very good," and yet the cover was torn.

Yes. Every age.
I adore this series. It's perfect for young audiences to learn how to handle life and emotions. It's perfect for those young at heart to remember what's important in life and to find magic. These graphic novels are so wonderful, and I cannot say enough good things about them.
