Garmin 010-02427-01 Venu Sq, GPS Smartwatch with Bright Touchscreen Display, Up to 6 Days of Battery Life, Light Gold and White

I've had this watch for a couple days now and overall it's a great watch. It has a long lasting battery. I recharge it every night and it's never below 87% at the end of the day. The heart rate monitor is very accurate and syncs with the connect app quickly. As a pedometer it does the job well and it helps me meet my step goals. I do wish that it would display images from my phone notifications. It was a useful feature on my old Samsung gear watch, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.The watch strap feels durable and lightweight. It's comfortable to wear. I can see this watch outlasting my Samsung gear watch.

Great value for the money and good quality. Has a long battery life and easy to use. It has lasted longer then any of my previous watches

The watch itself is great. The sensors seem accurate and it has a lot of information. I liked my previous Garmin smartwatch and this one is fancier with more features. The setup is terrible. Out of the box I charged it and followed their instructions, including installing a running coach as recommended. I already had Garmin Connect, the primary interface app on my phone. Tried to change the watch face and was informed that I needed to download the Garmin store app. Fine, a little annoying to have to get a second app, but so be it. Installed the store, started looking at watch faces, and now informed that I can't download any of them until I install an app called Garmin Express. I have to google Garmin Express because there is no other information or links, and then find out that it is only a desktop application. So apparently 3 separate apps are required just to change a watch face. I download Garmin Express onto my computer, download the update that is required, and then get informed that there is not enough space.My brand new, just out of the box smartwatch, does not have enough space for the required current update.3 different applications and an update that can't be installed out of the box is ridiculous. We did finally manage to get a workaround and the watch is setup. I am happy with its performance.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It's cute and functional. I'm able to get bands and covers for it to change styles and protect the glass. I love the gps. My priority is GPS and seeing my notifications from my phone. Ive had it for about 6mo. It foesnt take long to charge and the battery last a long time. The charge is shorter the more you use the gps. Screen displays can be changed in app.

I love my Garmin Venu SQ. I was tired of the Apple and Samsung Ecosystem. This works perfectly with my Pixel phone, and I love being able to change the watch faces. The battery life is phenomenal, I can go days without charging the watch. Only downside I will say is sometimes I feel like I don't get the notifications and had to reset the watch notification system a few times. I like all the features that come with the app, so if you want a more fitness based watch with a few perks I would definitely get this! It also looks similar to an Apple Watch and has a fooled a few people!

Loved the watch at first. Kept great time, battery life was fantastic. Recieved it in December and it stopped working the end of March. Tried contacting customer service thru Amazon then just googled Garmin customer service and they were great. Bridget had it working again in less than 10 minutes. Still love my Garmin and kudos to their customer service.

She likes that it’s limited to health tracking, and basic phone connectivity for things like notifications and message previews. She didn’t want the distractions of various watch apps that demand your attention or just duplicate functions already on the phone. The price was also half what even the most basic Apple Watch costs.

I am reading peoples reviews and wonder if I got a buggy one. My Garmin just stops working whenever it wants. The screen goes dim, when it wants. The settings change, when it wants. I have to try to restart, play with the buttons, plug it into the wall or computer, in hopes it is still working. It is like it is not running on all cylinders. The app and settings for how I work out are not as easy to use at the fitbit but I have been sticking it out, giving this a try and I am getting to the point where I want to send it back and buy something that has proven itself to me..I am, on a weekly basis, looking at it and wondering if it just died on me and that is no exaggeration.What I do like is the size of the face, the GPS and style.Good luck and I hope yours works better.
