Best of the best (which are grass litters) - so far
This is the like SmartCat and Frisco versions of grass litter, only we think a little better because it’s a bit less dusty. The others come in plastic bags, but Only Natural puts its plastic bags inside a box, which protects the litter better during transport. In fact, it’s in TWO bags, meaning it’s more convenient to use.We have used these litters since the first one (SC) came out, putting up with the EXTENSIVE tracking because in every other way (except price of course, they’re great). They’re essentially dust free; they control odor (assuming you’re not lax); they clump well; they don’t glue themselves to the bottom of the box; they’re lightweight; they have no discernible odor; they’re reportedly more environmentally sensitive; they’re presumably non-GMO; they don’t have added ingredients (especially harmful ones); and every one of our cats prefers them (we tested). We hope they can find a way to keep these benefits but make the pieces more rounded. Being sharp and jagged, they can scratch floors if they get stuck under something that weighs a lot or is moved repeatedly. Also, rounded pieces might not stick inside the crevices in the cats’ paws - meaning they MIGHT track less. If nothing else, maybe fewer bits would jam themselves into the bottoms of my rubber soles shoes!UPDATE: we thought this marginally better than the other handful of brands of grass litter now on the market - but not enough to pay the new price (~$66 for two boxes instead of ~$53 ... plus $7 shipping, yikes!)

Sticky clumps and Dusty
If you are thinking of using grass litter, then you are on the right track. It is the safest litter on the market. However, I am not fond of this particular brand. Like the others I have tried, it contains odor fairly well. Yes, it tracks, as do most litters. To take care of that problem I use a mat outside the litter box. The consistency of the grain is the same as other grass litters. But here is why I do not like it: After being in the box for only 3 days, the dust started kicking up like mad. It doesn't clump completely, and leaves behind a thick, gooey residue that not only gets stuck in my litter scoop, but will also get stuck in a cats paw should they step in their urinary business. I also do not recommend flushing it, even though the brand states it is safe to do so. My toilet started to back up and I didn't even flush that much. Nope, I don't recommend this particular litter at all. My favorite is So Phresh Unscented Grass Seed Cat Litter.

I love the fact that it is non-GMO
After two 20 lb. boxes, I am throwing in the towel on this litter. I love the fact that it is non-GMO, but it is also much more expensive than alternatives. I could live with the initial cost, but it also does not work nearly as well or clean as easily as the World's Best that I normally used, and that translates into even more expense. Here are some specific observations. This litter does not clump as well or have the same absorbency I was accustomed to. That translates int more litter being used, but also makes cleaning a bit more difficult as clumps tend to break up. Also, when wet, the clumps adhere to the sides and bottom of the litter box, and even adhere to the scoop I use when cleaning. That means additional cleaning of the box itself, as well as more frequent total replacements. So still more expense.

Great litter, but SO messy.
If the litter stayed in the box, I'd give this product 5 stars. However, the cats track it EVERYWHERE. It's unbelievable how messy this stuff is. Almost instantly, it's off the littermat and in every room of my aparyment.

Brilliant clumping action, but not for all cats
I LOVE this litter!! The way it “clumps” is unlike any other litter I’ve ever used; it forms almost a gelatinous lump that all comes out at once, leaving no mini-clumps - it’s amazing & soooooo easy to clean!I just wished all my cats agreed! One of my four cats didn’t like it for whatever reason - it smells different ? the texture wasn’t right for him ? Who knows?! But it got a 75% approval rating from my household (80% if you count my input)! Just be warned if you have a litter-particular kitty... she/he may think it’s just not quite right. I even mixed it with regular litter, but the accidents weren’t worth it.I still highly recommend it!

Worth the price!!!
First of all, there is NO SMELL and NO DUST from the litter itself. I have been trying different litter over the last 2 years and this is THE BEST. Besides being flushable/USA grass/non-GMO/environmentally friendly, it is super absorbent and odorless, but still blocks odors! My cat adjusted to it immediately--in fact I was pouring the new litter in after cleaning his box and changing over from "World's Best." He hopped right in before I was even done and did his business!I have a sphynx so no dust/smell is very important to me as he doesn't have any whiskers or hair to protect his nose, and has sensitive lungs. This is TRULY 99% dust free. The cat does track it around a bit, but that's easily remedied with 2 mats outside of his litter box.

Environmentally friendly and no odor! Love it!
I had read on a blog that this was one of the best materials for cat litter- the grass seed means it’s compostable and non-toxic unlike that clay based garbage and it’s not as expensive as swheat scoop and I think it’s better! No odor, doesn’t smell like cat waste OR grass.Just FYI though it is a lightweight litter so make sure you have a litter mat down to trap whatever comes flying out with the cat!

Not for a litter robot
I wanted to love this litter as I really want to get away from clay litter, but it did not work in my litter robot (litter robot just requires a clumping litter). It did clump well and good odor control, but stuck like glue to the bottom of my robots andd was a nightmare to clean up. Might work fine for those not using a litter robot.
