Korean Sweet Pancake Mix, Hotteok (14.10 oz) By Beksul (Original, 1 Pack)

These were a very yummy treat! This was my first time ever trying hotteok so I can't say if the taste is authentic or not, but I found these to be super delicious and I think they turned out quite well. The instructions on the box were simple and easy to follow. If you have leftovers, these freeze wonderfully. From frozen I reheat in the air fryer on 360F for 2 mins on each side (4 mins total). So good! Only complaint I have is the price is a bit too expensive so it probably won't be a regular purchase, but I'm so glad I tried it as they did not disappoint! I would totally recommend honestly.

I missed hotteok in Korea and this was easy to follow and the taste was authentic. I used this for my Korean cooking class as well. It was fun to make it at home.

Purchased a while ago & decided to write a review. First time purchasing this on here so wasn’t sure what to expect. But it arrived undamaged & fine so I thought. Didn’t realize it at the time but it was missing a yeast packet. I made it without it which still came out fine without the slight puffy rise to it. But I had bought another same brand box at the store recently and it HAD the yeast packet which I was surprised since I didn’t know it was suppose to be included when I purchased it here. Not sure why my box was missing the yeast packet (which also says it’s included on the box) but that was my only main flaw for this purchase. Other than that, it came out good and delicious. Would purchase again. Hopefully with everything it comes with arrives when I do.

Making these are time consuming and you need the tool for flattening them. They're essentially pancake mix bought for a treat but if you plan on making A-LOT of them its cheaper to buy bulk ingredients and make homemade. For the quantity they make and price its not a good value but for a treat the mix is quick

Just as I expected, I'm no serious baker but it turned great. Instructions were easy to follow and we're a bit flexible to alter.I love this stuff❣️

Not at all lumpy and delicious flavor. I made green onion pancakes and it wasn’t greasy. It was fast to make. Great color

I really love Hotteok in Gen Korean BBQ House. So I just I searched and found this product. It's easy to make. You guy can search on Youtube, they show how to make it so detail. It's not exactly like Gen korean bbq house. But that's ok.
