I just received my product today which I ordered yesterday based off of the reviews. I NEVER write reviews but as a dog mom I feel inclined to give feedback considering I have a picky breed dog: Shiba Inu- yes, you read that right. These dogs take picky to a whole new level. So I bought a single greenies chewy at a pet store today just to try as well so the fact he liked that was awesome and totally helped the gag reflex for me when he wanted to kiss me. Also, he is only 6 months old so no major dental issues and he has been groomed. My review is that he didn’t refuse dinner. He actually ate it with the product in it!!! I was concerned about the mint flavor but he didn’t mind as compared to another product I got for his allergies from the same manufacturer which was salmon flavor and I had to use a greenies pill pouch to get him to eat. So yeah, picky. He doesn’t like most treats so I am saying take the risk as I think it is worth it at least from a mom with a picky dog. Good luck.

I was honestly so skeptical of these. We have tried many remedies for my pups raunchy breath and bad teeth. She's a huge bite risk at the vet, so to even have them examine her mouth she needs to be heavily sedated (staffy mix with other larger breeds who is also a rescue with a really traumatic background), super expensive on top of the cost of cleanings. I even have to give her less than the recommended dosage as she has a highly sensitive stomach, but even then, this stuff has done wonders! Her breath no longer makes me gag, a couple of her teeth that I thought were too far for hope are actually improving, and her gums are so much less irritated! We have been able to brush in between meals with no blood anymore. I honestly can't give anything less than 5 stars.

I have been giving this powder, to my pup, for at least a month. I have not noticed any super fresh breath or anything, but I have not reeled from his breath either, so I call that a win. My boy is a Coprophagist (poo eater), so I can't stand him to be that close to me. I have been trying to be more diligent, to get him to stop. In the mean time, I am using this, to at least mitigate the smell, and it does seem to work.He seems to accept it just fine. No vomiting, or other changes (poop!).I deducted one star, for a very stupid reason, but the annoyance level is like off the charts for me. Could they have trimmed a 1/4 inch or so, from the scoop, so it will fit in the jar properly? I know petty, right, but dang that bugs me every time I try to close that jar.I have this on subscription, so I would recommend, but please Pet Honesty, trim your scoop, or get a slightly bigger bottle!

Works well! I have a 12 year old dog who's breath always smells. We tried another product that did nothing. Then I found this with the mint flavor. I give my 50lb dog 2 scoops 2x a day. Her breath has become tolerable which is a huge improvement! With how bad it was I don't expect it to fix everything but being able to love on her again without being choked out by her breath is amazing.

I've been feeding Pet Honesty Dog Breath Freshener Dental Powder for Teeth Cleaning Plaque Off to my three miniature dachshunds - all seniors with teeth issues - for about a week now. One of my girls is a particularly finicky eater. When I say "finicky," I might as well say impossible! She has been completing her entire meal from day one since I began adding Pet Honesty to her morning meal. Although their breath is not perfect, they no longer trigger my gag reflex when they come up for a kiss. I have a lot of confidence that their breath and dental health will continue to improve, as it has worked so well in such a short period of time. I might add that all the teeth brushing, water additives and other things I've tried have not worked. However, I will continue that regimen - miniature dachshunds are not known for perfect teeth, and every effort can help! I highly recommend this product. It is reasonably priced by comparison to other similar products, and works as advertised. Schatze - my finicky girl - agrees completely!

My dog ate this for a while, but we had also just gotten him new food, after he got used to the new food he no longer wanted to eat it when the powder was mixed in unfortunately, it does have a minty smell which I don’t know of any dogs who enjoy the flavor of mint. However, after just a couple of weeks we have noticed a big improvement in his breath, I just wish it didn’t have that minty flavor otherwise it would’ve been perfect.

I don't write reviews very often, but I felt I had to for this item. I've tried the liquid in the water and my little Chika would refuse to drink the water. I've tried the sprays and then you have to fight Chika to get it in her mouth. This product is something she likes eating, she doesn't care if it's mixed into her wet food or not and her breath is manageable and getting better every day. I love this!

This does what it claims but after trying to hide in gravy and peanut butter my dog started to refuse anything with it in. A pretty strong odor for a strong nose.
