Building a Barndominium! We didn't want to have sewer vents running out the roof of the barndo & and we were connected to a lagoon! We visited with a plumber who got us approved to use a different venting system, but we would still be suseptable to some smell being blown back up the exposed pipe (because we were in a drought area) by the wind! I installed 2 of these & 2 from another brand! These were AMAZING! I prefer the plastic insert over the metal insert because it allows us to use bleach to clean the tubs and showers! When we used bleach with the other backflow inserts they rusted almost immediately! Love this product enough that I changed all of my tubs and showers out with this brand specifically!

No funciona para nada y el agua baja demasiado lento y se llena la ducha como si estuviera tapada. No atrapó mucho el olor. Muy decepcionado 😞

This product works great for me! It drains efficiently even with low water pressure. The only time it drains slowly is when hair accumulates in the catcher, but once I clean it, it drains perfectly again. Cleaning is super simple – just remove the shower drain cap, clean the filter, unscrew the valve, and make sure there’s no hair left. It only takes a few minutes and is really easy. I highly recommend this product if you're okay with doing a little quick maintenance. For me, it's a 5-star product – exactly what I needed, and now there's no more odor.
