I've used the sockets and bits in this set for occasional work on my car. It's been useful for removing interior trims, and some light work in the engine bay (unbolting headlights, air filter, battery, adjusting panels). The ratchet feels sturdy, and the extension bits are handy. Everything attaches to each other well.I wouldn't use this for any application where more torque would be required (e.g. an oil change, brakes, etc) but that is, of course, an expected limit with a 1/4 set.The case is good, with slots clearly labelled. The smaller size allows me to keep the set inside my spare wheel in my car, out of the way.For the money, I am very satisfied.

They are well made and pack away after use well. You would not want to overhaul a truck with these, but for straight forward workshop use the are excellent as long as you remember their size

I need a new 1/4" socket set and this fit the bill well, a good range of sockets and accessories and s sturdy case.

I already had a 1/2" set passed down to me with my recent used car acquisition, I needed to tackle some fixes of varying levels and so, needed a reasonabale 1/4" inch socket set with some extensions and some deeper sockets. This fits the bill for me, perfectly.The quality is superb for a home diy mechanic like myself, made of cv steel it should last a long time and so far the sockets used all fit well. The ratchet is decent enough, though not great as it's too easy to switch in opposite directions but it does the job.I don't need the hex screwdriver bits, they do feel somewhat generic seen and not of S2 steel as a minimum, but for ocassional use they do the job. I've swapped out some of the common ones with better ones, so I use the useful storage case.I've used the sockets with a 3/8" torque wrench using an adapter with no issues.All in all, a good to decent set.

I bought this same socket set kit as it’s affordable and well made. When using the socket set it allows you to remove and tighten nuts and bolts confidently and effectively.

I have wanted one of these socket sets for some time. Have had Draper products in the past and found them to be of decent quality without breaking the bank.This 1/4 inch socket set has a nice weighty feel to it and was a great price on Amazon. I purchased this for working on my Motorcycle and find 1/4 inch drive ideal for that as it is very compact. I think if you wanted to work on a Car then get 1/2 inch drive set.Comes in a very sturdy plastic box all bits are easy to get to. I am very pleased with this purchase.
