Excellent! - Except for one broken module
I wasn't 100% sure how this was going to end up, as I am not a fan of desoldering things. I had two release day PS5 remotes that are coming up on being 4 years old and oddly enough, both controllers started to show signs of slight drifting at the same time in the same joystick. I opened a new controller and retired both of the original ones without even thinking about fixing them.I found these replacement joysticks on Amazon and even though this is a Vine review, I feel that the $16.99 price tag is well worth it. My controllers were only showing signs of drifting in the right analog but I replaced both since the package contained 4 pieces. They feel great and work just like new controllers again. The included tools were an added bonus. I already had what I needed, but everyone may not. I am also not sure what the included bands are for as I did not use them anywhere during the installation process.EDIT-This started as a 5 star review, but I took away a star due to a malfunction! The others work fine, so I am sure that this is not a bad product, just a bad piece that I happened to receive.I played a game today with the controller that I fixed last night and one of the joysticks is in my opinion DOA. When I tried to click the analog button, the function would work but there was no actual click or movement of the joystick. I disassembled the controller (thinking maybe something was limiting the movement) but everything was as it should be and I still couldn't click the analog button. Now the analog operation does not work at all. If I move the joystick in any direction it just stays there and will VERY slowly make its way back to the center. Once moved, the joystick no longer has any stiffness and will basically just fall in any direction until whatever mechanism inside recenters at a snails pace to hold the joystick centered. I'm not sure what happened, but something inside of the joystick module is broken.

Very fast shipping & great easy replacement parts
We have been through multiple Ps5 controllers because they get the drift problems, & while the warranty covers at least the first time, it's a hassle. These are easy to replace if you have the knowledge. Just like all electrical components, be aware of your warranty & the limitations. If you are comfortable, these are a great solution

Looking forward to correcting my flaky controller
I have yet to do the install of the new joystick, but the kit is very nice. It comes with four joysticks, which is good, because I have a habit of breaking things that I'm trying to fix. I did already hook one of these up to a volt meter and the center points are good. I did that because I had heard online that some of the analog joysticks that people had gotten had issues. That is not the case with the one I tested. Of course those issues that might have just been clickbait on a YouTube video, but it took like 2 minutes to feed 1.8v to these leads and check them out with a multimeter. I'm not saying this is going to correct my aim in RE4, but one can only hope.

Replacement analog sticks for DualSense (requires soldering)
So these are analog stick replacements for the DualSense (PS5) controller and they are Hall effect so they will never drift. But be advised, installing these requires desoldering the original modules that came with the controller and then soldering these new ones in place. You can do this with just a soldering iron, flux, solder, and a solder wick (none of which is included)… although it would be much easier to use a hot air station because the solder that the manufacturer used to assemble the controller melts at a much higher temperature (440 degrees Celsius) compared to normal lead free solder that most people use for basic electronic repairs. Also, you have to calibrate these sticks yourself using a PC (because the PlayStation 5 does not offer this functionality to the end user) after you install the new sticks. This is the newer model of these sticks with orange plastic on them and these have no jitter like some of the first ones that were available on the market. So my point is please be aware of what you are getting into. I have been repairing and upgrading electronics for 5 years as a hobby and this repair/replacement was one of the harder ones that I have ever attempted. Most people do not have soldering equipment laying around and it would almost be as expensive as buying a new controller ($75) to get everything you need and this is not a good electronics repair to do for the first time if you have no experience.Once everything is done, they work just as well as the stock analog sticks (before those were drifting). But the benefit of these is that they will never break down (mechanically speaking) and they will work for as long as the controller is in one piece.

I received this item as part of the Amazon Vine programPro,+well made+easy to use+works without issueCons,-noneOverall, 5/5.This replacement kit is great. It is well-packaged and comes with many accessories. The installation requires some soldering skills but nothing fancy. I was able to repair/replace 2 PlayStation controller joysticks within 30 minutes or so, with most of the time used for taking the controller apart. For the price, you can't go wrong with this kit.

Ended up working well
This ended up working well, it took me awhile to use it but finally got to it, I didn't like that it just came in a tightly wrapped piece of plastic and tape, but oh well just as long as it did what it's supposed to.
