This Ringke Onyx phone case, priced at £12.99 at the time of review, offers good value. There is a lot to like about the case, along with a couple of questionable aspects.✓ Precise cutouts and button placement✓ Charging port cutout does not impair the insertion of the USB-C cable✓ Soft, cushioned, and highly flexible all-TPU construction✓ Raised lips to protect the camera bump and screen✓ Excellent textured surface provides superb grip✓ Dark green colour is beautiful⁉️ It claims to offer military-grade drop protection, citing MIL-STD-810G-516.6. However, the 516.6 suffix is neither a certification nor is it concerned with drop testing. 516.6 is a method for testing resistance to damage caused by the type of vibration encountered during flight or in an explosion. For drop testing, the correct method is 516.5, Procedure IV (also known as Procedure IV - Operational Drop).✗ Lacks MagSafe compatibility✗ Terrible packaging – just a plain plastic envelope with no branding.≣ The Ringke Onyx case is excellent value for money, and offers one of best textured, non-slip surfaces I've come across. It's only let down by the poor packaging, and the dubious claims about Military Grade drop protection.

I bought this case as I had a good ride with my previous Ringke for my Pixel 7 Pro and because I needed something quick while waiting for my clear case from other brand. I really love this mint colour, it's refreshing not to constantly have a black case. It has a nice texture at the back that helps with the grip. It has a lip to protect the screen and camera, though the front lip looks lower than my previous case but that'd probably because Pixel 7 Pro has a curve screen while this Pixel 9 Pro has a flat screen. You can't go wrong with Ringke. This will definitely be my fav alternative case!

Looks good, comfortable, covers camera very well. Not so sure about "military grade" protection. But it's really just a marketing thing that they have to put, as everyone else does it.EDIT:Bought second case, magnetic version, because I liked so much the standard. Unfortunately, magnetic version was not good. It didn't sit flush, and the magnet was weak, wouldn't hold against the magnetic car mount at all. So I am returning the magnetic version, but still very happy with the standard.

Superb case. Not too bulky.

While waiting for my Pixel 9 Pro XL to arrive, I went ahead and ordered a bunch of cases to try out for when my phone arrived. Long story short - I sent all the other cases back and ended up keeping the Ringke Onyx case! It fits all of my needs perfectly and I don't think the pictures on show do the case justice. It's very robust whilst keeping a minimal / thin profile. I feel like my phone is well protected against scuffs and scratches, I wouldn't feel overly concerned if my phone was to fall out of my hands either, which is nice. It has a very nice build and doesn't feel cheap. It feels nice in the hand and grippy also. It's bulky enough for you to feel protected but thin enough to not feel like you have much of a case on it at all! Both sides of the case are equipped with holes for neck / wrist straps - which is a nice touch (and a feature that I use). This case is fully compatible with my screen protector and the cut out for the charging port is wide enough to cater for any type of wire.One thing worth mentioning is that this case does not encourage or fully support wireless charging - it's not an issue for me as I'm not a fan of it nor do I use it - but do keep this in mind.Overall, it's a pretty solid case and it ticks all my requirement boxes - I can't think of any downsides as of yet.I am extremely happy with my purchase and I know that my Pixel 10 Pro case will also be from here :)

It is a perfect fit, Great in hand feel, The texture is really nice, really like the color.

Just received the case today in the mail. Got the Magnetic Dark green variant. Took a bit longer since they were initially out of stock. For the price ~$20 this case is hard to beat for the new pixel 9. Seems like a really good, well designed polycarbonate shell that should prove to be plenty durable. Raised corner edges on the screen should protect against minor falls. Magnet strength is good. Tested it on my wireless stand charger and a portable magsafe compatible external battery pack. Both work well with the case.The most unique thing about this case is the dotted texture on the sides and the sand paper texture on the back. This case is definitely not going to easily slide out of your hands. Buttons on the case are clicky.I normally don't do reviews and this is my first one in years. If you benefitted from this review please let me know. I will try to provide periodic updates to inform on how the case has been holding up.P.S. Oh almost forgot there are slots on both the sides to attach a lanyard or hand strap to really ensure the phone doesn't slip out of your hands.

Really nice quality case. Textures feel nice, a bit higher quality than your average case. Magnetic grip is strong, enough to support the phone but not too difficult to remove.I chose this case because of the precise camera cutouts, I'm not sure if putting a glass protector over the temperature sensor interferes with its accuracy but I don't want to take chances. I found a glass protector that is compatible for screen and cameras and fits perfectly (AACL Pixel 9 screen protector). Pictures show the case with glass protectors installed. My only complaint is that the lip is a bit lower along the long edges of the phone. Not really a problem with the product but personally I prefer a bigger lip throughout for greater protection. Perhaps having a larger lip along the shorter edges and corners will be enough. Time will tell.

Premiere experience avec la marque et je suis vraiment surpris de la sensation premium et petit prix de cette coque. Egalement, tres bonne adherence de la coque magnifique.

Gli unici punti a favore della cover sono che è carina e ha un grip buono (no Ottimo).Per il resto al tatto sembra fatta di cartone, non mi da particolare fiducia e trattiene tutto lo sporco... Non la uso da nemmeno una settimana, ma la cover sembra vecchia di mesi
