Surprisingly good!
For the price, this is an amazing microscope. Feels solid after it's setup. The extras are good quality with lots of options, but aren't professional grade. This is a great beginner or hobbiest microscope. The included 1.5mp camera is plug & play with Windows & gives an ok picture at 1080 - 30fps. The only thing this doesn't come with out of the box is the immersion oil for the x5000 lens & i can't really knock off a star for that. Not lab grade microscope, but more than i will ever need for home use.

¡Very good for the price!
Good quality, a nice set of accessories, the camera works well, good resolution.Only that the metal piece that holds the slide was a bit bent.

It' works well and worth the price.
I got it for my wife. She is a doctor. She loves! It is really good for over magnifying things that one might want to look at.

A Much Better User Manual Would Be Nice
Giving this 3 for now…I’ll adjust up or down depending on feedback I may get. Just received this microscope and although basic setup was easy, have spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the higher magnification objective lenses (40x and 100x) to produce any kind of visible image using the prepared specimen slides. Works good at 4x and 10x but I bought this to go higher. The instructions are presented with a grainy black and white image that has little detail and reference is made to matching the aperture angle of the concentrator to match the aperture of the objective lenses…but the concentrator adjustment knob has no indexing or indicator of that to help with those higher powers. It’s all trial and error. Very frustrating. I’m hoping the seller will respond (no way I could find to send a question directly) with some guidance on how to open up the world of 1000x plus on this device. Otherwise I’ll be returning it. Wasn’t expecting a lab grade tool but I was certainly expecting to be able to get to beyond 200x with little trouble.

Great microscope
Wife has had nothing but good things to say about this. She's a biology major and sets it up as much as she can. Image quality on her laptop and her are amazing and the storage case is very well designed

meh microscope - NOT "professional laboratory grade"
This microscope is nicer than a toy microscope, but it doesn't even come close to the quality of the microscopes we used in my classroom with public school 7th graders. If you don't already know exactly how to focus with a coarse adjustment and fine adjustment, you may smash your objectives while you teach yourself with this microscope. The aperture in the stage was dirty and very difficult to clean. It came with a box of prepared slides - the CAPITAL letter "e" made me laugh out loud - seriously?!? The onion skin slide had no mitosis whatsoever. Look at the page by page instructions - this could be a good prop for a play or a cheap production tv show, but it is not, by any means, in any way whatsoever, "lab grade". This microscope is only useful for the most casual inquiry.
