Amazing product but read the review- If you want a lock w keypad with Biometrics- this is it!
This is exactly what I was looking for because I didn't want to have to drill holes into my door in my condo building. My old deadbolt lock was probably 30 years old- but it worked perfectly and if you follow the directions and you don't have any weird stuff with your old lock, you should be fine.*** The keypad is a great feature and the main reason why i bought this version... After my lock was working, you then have to pair the keypad. This was a little confusing because I kept trying to pair it- but apparently it was already paired. The instructions for this part are confusing and I am pretty tech saavy... Even when setting the biometrics, you cant really tell if its recording the fingerprint as you need to do it between 8-10 times. It almost looks like it;s not, so then you cancel out of the function- and then you'll see that it actually did record it. Then you can rename it to the family members name- and you'll know everytime they open the lock.It also has an automatic locking feature after 30 seconds which is great. App is basic but works fine and you get updates everytime the lock is opened or locked. Biometrics are working great and my kids love it and there is also a 4 digit code we have for emergencies. The price of this version with the keypad is way lower than all other brands and it has been working great with no issues at all. I was worried I would be stuck on a mission but this has been great. I don't know how easy it is to share access within family members on the app- but the keypad and biometric works so perfectly that we'll probably never need the app.If you don't need, or can't use the keypad based on your application- then there are lots of other brands you can use that are just the wifi lock and the app... But if you do want a keypad- which is WAY easier in my opinion- then this is the one- based on price, looks and functionality.Have some patience when programming the keypad because it's a little tricky- but it works great. Also, once it recognizes the Keypad in the app- I'm pretty sure you don't need to "pair it" after that- even though it will ask you to. That was the mistake i was making because it wouldn't pair after it was recognized- but I think that is because it was already paired... Anyways- you'll see what I mean when you cross that bridge- but this lock is Awesome!

Good locking retrofit, lacking integration options with any home automation
So far so good. The lock installs trivially and all hardware needed is included (excepting repaint if needed of course!). Only a few minor gripes from me: the lock sensor occasionally gets the wrong reading and auto-locks the door while it's open. Or claims the door is open while it is closed and locked. The early auto-locking has caused an mis-calibration on one occasion where my son reversed auto-locking too quickly, before it finished. Once you realize recalibration is needed this is easy enough to trigger under "Lock handing" in the Home Access app. And, the Philips Home Access App has no linkage whatsoever to Philips Hue, nor does it export unlock/lock functions in order to integrate with Shortcuts and Siri on iOS. This seems like an oversight likely due to Conway's Law - the group (or third party more likely) producing these locks and apps have nothing to do with the group producing Philips Hue and so they do not interoperate, but exporting functions to the OS for the app to be controlled by external authenticated features seems like a 2025 MUST HAVE. Best I've been able to do is make a Shortcut to open the app, so at least I can say "Siri, open my Front Door" and then app is ready for me to tap the Device, then the Unlock button. I'd prefer this action to be fully automated.

Easy setup, connects with Alexa, can lock or unlock from anywhere with app
This lock has worked flawlessly for me. I read some of the reviews, so I waited a little over a month and a half of use before I gave my review. I haven't had any problems. It was really easy to install and it connected with Alexa really easy. I'm able to lock and unlock my door with voice command, through the app, manually, and with a key. I also have it set to lock automatically after 30 seconds which is a nice feature when your hands are full, or you forget to lock the door behind you, and the app gives you real-time lock and unlock stutus for piece of mind. The battery is also holding up quite well. This really works well for me, because I travel for work and I can lock or unlock my door using the app from anywhere.
