This warmer is one of the best things I have ever bought for the kitchen. I used to go to country clubs and they used to have those fancy warmers, keeping food warm. This reminds me of a smaller version of that. It keep the food warm and you can set the temperature however high you want it to keep the food hot.The only complaint I have is that I will inadvertently hit the plastic top off one of the small warmers and the last one burned on the eye of my stove. I wish there was a way I could buy the individual plastic tops. I ruined some of the plastic tops sometimes, but it is always my fault. I have to buy a new a whole new warmer if one of the plastic tops gets broken.Other than that, this is the best warmer I have ever used.

I ordered two of these servers for use on Thanksgiving. Ordered as a Prime item on Sunday but only arrived on Friday, so too late for Thanksgiving (removal of a half star). We hosted my children/spouses on Thanksgiving and my husband's children on Friday, so I did have them in time for the second dinner and they worked well. I used sterno servers in the past and I don't like the smell, plus I always worried with them around my two cats. I liked that this product is washable and fully reusable. It doesn't keep food super hot (removal of another half star), so make sure it's hot when you put it in the containers. But all in all, it kept it warm enough for our needs. The lids are a bonus and the containers were plenty large enough for a dinner party of ten.

I bought this to heat pizza during our weekly game nights. At first I just put the pizza box atop the hot plate, which was ok except for the dehydrating effect over time. Now I put the slices in the silly bowls it comes with and it keeps the pizza moist and melty! Yeah, it's silly, but when you game for 8+ hours you don't want cold pizza!Is it hot? YES! Don't touch the plate even on low settings unless your hands are frozen!Easy to clean? Definitely! It's stainless steel! just a quick wipe with a clorox wipe and paper towel and you are ready for another week of gaming!Sturdy? Sure, I suppose. Not like I'm moving this around all the time, it sits on a pedestal and never moves.For the price, this is an excellent find. It may not be the largest, but it'll hold 2 pizzas and an italian cheese bread!

Not what I expected. The name itself implies a large buffet food server...but the dishes are extremely shallow...this is better suited for a 4 to 6 person family and for breakfast or brunch, not a for a large party or buffet unless for appetizers or small bites...as far as the warming tray and the quality of the metal, it was thinner than what I would feel is appropriate for a $50 buffet server and the tray gets very warm in only 2 large spots opposed to the whole tray warming up...not to mention, the box and the product had a few dents while it was shipped...overall, I was disappointed and expected more from the megachef....Although it states it is a prime item, it took about a week to deliver, and sadly the box had been damaged while delivered, causing some denting on the side of the product so I decided to return it...the seller took a few days to accept my return request...and now 1.5 week later after dropping it off at fedex, I am still waiting for my return to process on my original form of payment..its not fulfilled directly by Amazon so then return itself takes much longerIt did come with plastic lids, though I would prefer they had a metal lid package option because plastic wraps in the dishwasher and would have to be washed by hand each use, and would work for purpose for serving breakfast to alot of people in a smaller setting (large family or extended family visiting for the holidays for example but not a buffet)..but I would prefer it to be a little cheaper because it's small and lightweight

These kinds of things aren't supposed to use extension cords, I think, but I'm going to anyway.*PRO TIP* Is storage an issue, like keeping the lids and all of it together? Want to store it sideways? I just got an art portolio as a "case". The 24"x32" bag is a bit too roomy, but otherwise is perfect! I'm going to swap it for a smaller 23"x31" size.

Love this service dish! Variable temp control is a big plus. Ability to use as a segmented warmer or as a hot plate is such a nice feature. It’s like 2 products in one. Although the compartments are small, they hold plenty. I have hosted several events for 15+ people and never had an issue .. example 1 Pasta Bar lg compartments held cooked pasta and meatballs. Small compartments held red sauce and white sauce. All 14 people were able to get a reasonable portion before I had to refill. Example 2 Taco Table lg compartments held shredded chicken and diced beef small compartments held cheese sauce and refried beans. Shells were out on table and guests assembled 20 tacos before having to refill. Would definitely recommend.

I was really happy with how this food warmer worked. However, the trays are so poorly made that a rough edge sliced my finger open when I washed it. This product is so dangerous that it should be recalled.
