Python Essentials 1: The Official OpenEDG Python Institute Course Book – Aligned with PCEP-30-0x Certification Exam

Well written book which covers all the topics of the online course. Great at explaining the basic Python concepts which is exactly what I needed.

I'm a veteran python developer that finally decided to get certs. This book did an excellent job of covering pretty much everything that was on the actual PCEP test.

The content is solid and an exact match to the web-based version. However, it looks like they tried to save a few nickels by skimping on ink. As a result, the text a little faded and hard to read in places. Since the printed book is the exact same as the digit content, I wouldn't buy this book if I could do it over again. (I'm about halfway through the material of book 1.)
