Detects from 15 feet awai in all directions
Works as advertised when it's fixed on the ceiling .When fixed on a wall , it does not work , it's a ceiling light after all , so for stairs it works if it's fixed on the ceiling .And it's strictly for indoors , when fixed in the basement , the light turns on even in the slightest of motion like leaf movement , car cover fluttering in the wind etc..

Motion Sensor not working out of box
Motion sensor not worked out of box. Unfortunately I could get fix only after return/replacement window over. Light tunrns on and turns off after few seconds and never turn on with any motion but only with switch on-off. No point of this, at least have option to keep it on then also i may have used it, totally waste of money.

A good light for the Main door of the House !
I needed a light on the main door which lights up automatically when some one is near my door & shuts off when it senses no motion around.1 This light perfectly fits my requirement - @92mm dia it is fairly small fitment - but quite bright for the purpose,2. Its surface mounting , which makes it easy to mount anywhere .3. The motion sensor takes little longer than 1 min as specified in the details - to auto shut off the light.4. The other features which it offers like surge protection, short circuit protection etc are yet to be tested.5. Since LEDs tend to weaken over time - emitting much lower light then they are supposed to - I will update as & when its experienced.A good buy for the purpose at a good price !

Waste of Money! It's not motion sensored its misleading
It's a poor product, it says its motion sensor but it was lighting whole night what a waste

Small, good light but over sensitive
I mainly bought this for motion detection capability for Bathroom so it auto lights up when door opens. However it is so sensitive that if the door is open and there is someone going in bedroom (to which washroom is attached) or roams around outside of the house in corridor (to which the Bathroom window opens), it lights up. Once it lights, within 1 min if it detects motion, it doesn't turn off. Sp practically it remains on most of the time in my installation.It maybe good for sparingly visited areas. Not good for washroom
