UGREEN hits it out of the park with this product like they do with most of their products. I recently replaced a couple of 3.5" disks with SSD's so I needed a couple of these enclosures to use the older 3.5" disks as backup drives. These enclosures were so simple and easy to use compared to the MANY enclosures I've used in the past. It took all of 10 seconds to install the hard drive into the enclosure, plugged it in, and I was up and running in less than three minutes. The enclosure is very easy to open to swap out drives and doesn't require any tools in order to do so. The hard drive sits inside the enclosure with soft pads on the sides so the drive won't get scratched and sit nice and firm without any room to move. The look and feel of the enclosure is quite modern, has a large activity light and and large power button on the top, making hard drive activity easy to see and powering the device on/off quite simple. Overall, this is a great product. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to build an external hard drive.

This worked very well. I was able to read a hard drive from a crashed computer and save files I needed. Will purchase another if the price hasn't gone up too high. Good product.

I needed another case as I just replaced a 3.5" drive in one of my computers with a 2.5" drive and don't like to just throw away good storage.The case was easy to open to install/remove the drive . I tested this case using several different drives and on both a desktop and a laptop using both type A/C 2, 3.1 and 3.2. I used several cables that I have to make sure that the cable wasn't impacting performance. All the cables showed the same performance. In the testing I did several file transfers to and from the drive using sizes from a few Mb to some videos of 4-6Gb and some drive backups of over 300Gb. All were successful and when doing verification of copies showed complete and accurate copies. In all it takes me close to 2 days of testing.This may seem like an overkill but if I'm going to have something that will impact my data I want to know it is going to work and be safe to use.I tested the through put and it showed 97-100%. I have several make and models of case and they are all a little different in this area but most are in the 95-100% range so this is in the top of them.Overall I'm not disappointed and would recommend this case. If I need another case I will definitely by this again.

Very simple case. No tools or screws required to install your SATA 3.5" hard drive. Everything slides together. Once assembled, it works like a charm. Everything you need is in the kit, including power supply and USB cables.

Good product, mechanical ventilation would be desirable for future products

I bought this because we needed information off of a dead computer and it was easy to use.

I've tried various brands of these things and these in particular are the best. Some of the others didn't access all the sectors on the discs properly when I was making images of other discs on them. These work perfectly where others failed
