Wat a great thermometer! I use it for my wife who's had a fever for a while. It can be tricky at first to get an accurate reading, but once you get it you've got it! Extremely accurate, and rapid results. I opted for the Bluetooth because we needed to record her temperature for the Dr. The app works well and is easy to navigate! Definitely a worthwhile purchase for Drs, or home use!

Great looking thermometer and appears well made. One of the coolest features of it that was something you didn't even know you needed is the magnetic head piece. I was examining right out of the box and hadn't read anything on it yet when I was wondering where the "ear piece" was supposed to attach (I remembered the original product description said it could be used on the forehead or ear). I glanced in the box and didn't see a separate ear piece so I was a bit concerned...but as I looked closer at the top place where the temp sensor is at and felt it with my fingers, I suddenly discovered the forehead scanner cap lifted off and low and behold, right underneath it was the attached ear piece scanner! It's gently magnetized but still firmly holds the forehead scanner piece in place. What an ingenious design! At a great price too!

This is a good thermometer to have. I used a lot of thermometers at work and this one seems to read better than what the hospital provides. It is affordable and the life time warranty guarantees that is included in the product saves money.

Yes, it's a little off sometimes like people mention. It seems that's due to an imperfect aim in the ear and the obvious surface variations of temp on skin, not the device itself being wildly inaccurate.If you want the exact same temp every time spread across a dozen readings, get something medical or scientific.Otherwise use one like this in a consistent manner while being mindful that skin surface temps need to settle after laying down or sitting under a vent.It's fast! The vibration to confirm reading is more helpful than other brands that beep for multiple things and you don't know which without looking.

I have to voice my displeasure and how I am really questioning the reliability and accuracy of the iProven Premium Dual Mode Thermometer. I had originally purchased the unit from Amazon on November 21, 2023. Within a week or two of receiving the thermometer I tested it and was not getting what I felt were accurate readings, especially when I compared those readings with a couple of different oral thermometers, and there was a notable difference. At that time I called the customer service phone number for iProven and the person agreed to send me a replacement and stated that I could dispose of the other thermometer however I wished.I received the replacement thermometer on 12-23-2023. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to test it at that time, but was hopeful that the replacement would be more reliable and accurate. However, as of this week my dad has had a bad cold and last night (6-20-24) I wanted to try to take his temperature with the iProven Premium Dual Mode Thermometer. I was really disappointed and initially it really worried me, because the readings from the ear(s) were showing that his temperature was over 103 degrees F. I really thought I would have to call 911, but my 80 year old dad is sitting there looking at me like that can't be right, because he says he feels better than he did the night before. So, I take a couple of readings from his forehead and they are 99.3 or 99.1. Please note that the forehead readings were taken within 1/16 of an inch from his forehead, so as to reduce any "outside interference" so to speak, since ambient room temperature can affect a reading from the skin. That is a BIG difference between 103 plus to 99 plus....4 degrees difference!! Although, then I get out the oral thermometer and double check his temperature and the oral thermometer says 101.6 degrees F. Still not the greatest, but at least it's not 103.5 like one reading for the ear was....almost 2 degrees difference! I gave him Tylenol and have been staying on top of other meds to help with the cold and congestion, and thankfully today he is doing much better.But the point is, that this iProven Premium Dual Mode Thermometer does not give me the confidence that this is a reliable unit that can provide accurate readings. Also, since this is the second unit I've received, I don't believe that sending me a third unit is going to instill any more confidence in me for this product.
