For one, this kit came with everything I needed to complete these manicures. It came with more than I needed to complete thr manicure, frankly.I won't lie, it's a skill that needs to be learned. It's not *easy* but it's also not at all hard. By the time I was on my third finger I basically had it down, and had a decent technique. It took me probably about 3-4 hours, but that's also due to taking a break in between hands. I think I could have easily gotten it all done in and hour and a half to two hours.It came with a little pamphlet that had instructions, and I followed those instructions relatively closely, but I also highly recommend watching YouTube tutorials to actually see someone doing it. If you're a visual learner, it's nearly mandatory to watch a video, otherwise you might miss out of some technique tips that the pamphlet doesn't cover.The kit I got came with a portable 6W UV LED lamp, and it works SURPRISINGLY well. IMO, no need to spend the extra money for the bigger lamp unless you want it for your setup. I had no issues drying any of the products with the 6W lamp.I did my nails yesterday, and I will come back to this review to update y'all on how long these nails last. I followed the prep instructions, and I feel relatively confident in these nails. Hoping for at least two weeks, as with the amount of gel that came in this kit, I likely wouldn't have to get an in-store manicure for MONTHS. Looking forward to the savings this will bring me haha. I will also update on the state that this leaves my natural nails in, as I bought this with the intention of growing out my nails. It came with cuticle oil, but I also bought more, so hopefully my nails will come out stronger. I'll also add that these poly-gel nails are very strong. I don't feel worried that they'll break. I'd be more worried about lifting and them getting ripped off, similarly to acrylics.Overall, highly recommend!

I love getting my nails done, but my nails need to be re-done or filled every 1.5 weeks due to how fast my nails grow. So to try and save money I have been attempting to do my nails at home for years. Tried different gel polish brands, tried at-home dip powder, tried press-on nails, etc, but they never last past a couple days and the dip powder was a little too difficult for me to master. I have always enjoyed the look of acrylic nails and how long they last. I am a habitual cuticle-picker and the only thing that has helped me stop has been the acrylic-style nails. This is the first type of nail enhancer that has been basically an acrylic replica. This product is super easy to work with and also came out looking great! It definitely takes practice and patience, and be sure to watch a couple tutorial videos first, but for my first time ever using this medium, I feel like my nails turned out pretty nice! They did take me a few hours, but I know I will get quicker over time. Highly recommend!

Kit is wonderful! Easy to use it takes a bit of getting used to and practice but it was really easy. Did these on my first try! Good quality poly gel!

It's really 3.5 but I can't do half a star. After reviewing this product I decided to buy it. Good things: the gel is easy to maneuver (with some practice), the instructions are easy to follow, the gel sets/dries perfectly, the quality is not bad, and the nails are strong. The things that didn't work for me: the nail clip is very cheap (use your own), the base coat doesn't dry but that doesn't affect the overall outcome, the top coat doesn't dry so I used my own top coat and that worked perfectly. This product does have a learning curve, so be patient. I am also working on the sides, and learned to use a size larger and then wipe off the excess gel and file it once dry. The base coat, top coat and matte coat bottles are TINY. Overall, I don't hate it but I don't love it. It works with minor adjustments and will hold you over until you can get in the salon. I do not regret this purchase.
