It’s a little larger than I need for one person. The minimum fill line is .5L, and max is 1.5L, but I’d buy this size again because it is BPA FREE. It’s not only a beautiful stainless steel exterior but interior as well, including the lid!! There’s NO plastic contact with the water. The exterior is safe to touch when it has finished heating. It heats up as quickly as other brands I’ve tried that are made of glass. I’ve had it several months now and am very happy with it.

Really like this kettle. Especially due to no plastic touching the water.I just wish the capacity was 1.75L instead of 1.5L. I neglected yo notice that before ordering.

Have had over two years. Awesome kettle. Good design.Only recommendation: the push open button for the lid only opens to the first open side and not the second. Would be nice to have the option to press again to open lid fully.Takes about 3-4 minutes to a full boil.

You can make 5 large mugs of tea with that, or 7 small, one cup, cups of tea!- The handle stays cool, even after boiling a full kettle.- The body of the kettle does get hot, but I'm older and have toughened hands, so I can touch it it.- It's heavy when it's full. Might be hard to lift and pour for smaller people, seniors, arthritic hands, or very small hands- Does not dribble, and I find the handle pretty ergonomic. I do have tiny hands, but pouring for me is fine.- Average noise level while in the boiling process. I've had a few brands over the years and none of them are quiet.Cons:- 2 Lid Issues. I would prefer it to pop straight up to a 90 degree angle when I push the button. Instead, this barely opens enough to put new water in. You can force it up to a (almost) 90 degree angle. However, I VERY often need to refill it right after I've used it. The lid get very hot, much hotter than the body does. So I need to fold up a kitchen towel to open the lid to refill it so I don't burn myself. This extra step is a pain.- Ideally, I've realized I'd prefer a removable lid so I could fill it straight on my fridge door. The pop up lid gets in the way. So we do have to fill it using a separate pitcher, which means that sits out on the counter with the kettle and feels cluttered. This wouldn't be an issue for people who just use straight tap water from their faucet.-Color...I also realize I want color in my kitchen. I'm soooo tired of the black and white options. But I'm finding the best products tend to keep their color options to a minimum.And this IS a good product! Just a couple of tweaks I'd make to it :)

Works as described, so read the description carefully. Although it is a bit heavy, it is well made.

Just saw this as I was scrolling I bought this six years ago and finally had to throw it away the only reason was because the little tab you push down wouldn’t stay pushed down, but besides that it worked well for six years for me and I loved it!

Our previous electric kettle needed to be replaced, and we wanted to get one that does not have any plastic being exposed to the water and steam inside the kettle. We tried a couple out that we though did not have plastic inside, but unfortunately they did. And, pretty much all of them that we have seen online also have what looks like a silicone ring internal around the bottom where the glass meets the bottom heating element plate.This kettle is the only one that I could find that does not have any plastic exposed to the water and steam inside. It is made from double wall stainless steel, and there are level marker on the inside of the kettle. Our previous kettle was 1200 watts, and this one is 1500watts. I do recognize that the water heats up faster with this kettle.I also did a lead swab test on the inside of the kettle and can confirm that there are no traces of lead in the kettle metal.If you are looking for a great kettle that does not have plastic exposed to the inside water and steam, look no further, this is the one.
