Good software with sensitivity control
I bought this to upgrade an old Qsee 4k system that was no longer being supported. What a difference! The software is much easier to use. I had no issues with the phone app installation. They also have an app for Windows which is convenient if you happen to have your PC powered on and want to see one of the cameras on a larger screen than your phone. The cameras are clear. The software has plenty of options for sensitivity, etc. Installation was quick since I already had network cables installed from the previous camera system. The built in LED lights in the cameras are great. I really don't need my old motion detection lights in the front yard since the camera's basically do that function now.I will note that the fan is noticeable if you have it in your bedroom. I did end up replacing the fan with a Noctua fan per discussions on their website (I can't find the article anymore) and it's pretty quiet now. If you upsize the hard drive or add a larger second drive, be aware that most of the larger 6Gb and 8Gb drives are loud with constant clicking which is a hard drive issue, not the NVR.Overall I'm really happy with this system.

Not a shabby system..worth the price.
It's brand new, so if anything changes, I will update it. The NVR took the cameras without any problem, and I've had no issues with it reconnecting in DHCP mode, unlike my Amcrest. I am setting both this and the cameras to static, but surprisingly, there have been no issues. I'm sure with a reservation, it will be even better. I bought two duo floods and a PTZ to go with them, and I can say the resolution and picture are amazing. For those not wanting to dig into IPs, it is truly plug and play. It works flawlessly with other cameras, RTSP, and ANVIF, as well as both the PC client and mobile. You will need the PC client if you want to set your cameras' IPs, but it's really not needed. I like this much more than my AMCREST, and yes, for a cheap system, it's worth the money so far.

High quality-fast-storage upgradable with 2nd hdd
The image quality on these cameras is almost on par with my iphone 14 pro max, minus the framerate. The app loads each camera much faster compared to wifi systems, this system being wired only. You can upgrade the NVR’s hard drive and add a second HDD of a different capacity and it will work (I added 2tb to the existing 4tb for a total of 6tb). Very satisfied with this system

Great performance
While it is not the best, this camera system is a great improvement for the price paid over the older Lorex system being replace. The resolution is sharper and the features are numerous. I also purchased a Duo camera with floodlight and it works seamlessly with a 180 degrees field of view. I am happy with Reolink and glad I made this choice over others.

Great quality, easy setup, but operation is a little quirky and annoying at time.
I have a few solar powered wireless cameras from Reolink in areas I can't get cabling to, and was always happy with them. So when I needed to replace my old Defender camera system in a difference office I went with Reolink.Installation was quick and easy, and setting up the NVR and configuring the cameras etc. was quick and simple. I interact with my NVR mostly through the Desktop Client which is not badly laid out and with a little practice is pretty easy to use. But, and it's a big BUT, there are some bugs I'm finding after using it a few weeks now.Firstly, I cannot get the FTP backup feature working. I have been dealing with Reolink support on it for over a week now and there is still no solution. Simply put, the NVR refuses to follow the full directory address to the FTP location, and keeps trying to create the backups in the root directory. Because my backup is on a NAS RAID system the NAS won't allow it. However, if I use the full and correct location through Filezilla it works without an issue so I know the FTP server and the user information are all correct and work. So I have had to enable local save on the NVR and have a PC permanently running simply to handle that. It is by no means ideal but for the time it's all I can do.Secondly, the live view has gotten very jerky. It used to be nice and smooth running at clear setting. But within the last week or so it has gotten very jerky, to the point where it's useless even looking at it. Even trying to view the playback on the NVR can be quite jerky. But the saved files I get from the local save are perfect, clear, and nice and smooth. But not being able to look at a decent live feed or even the saved videos on the NVR is quite annoying. All in all it's a nice system, but with these issues I'd say it's just OK. I wouldn't get another one in the future unless the issues I currently face can be resolved with the system I have.

An impressive system, everything that you is in the box.
Thirty-day review. The system arrived in a reasonable time in perfect condition. The video quality is impressive. The range of detection is far greater than I expected. My shop is approximately 150 feet from my house and the quality of the video at that range is very good. The motion detection in so far as vehicle and person detection picks up vehicles before they're backed completely out of the shop. The spotlight function works along with the motion detection system. They're brighter than I was expecting. There is definitely a period of adjustment. I'm still fine-tuning non-detection zones to eliminate false and unwanted triggers such as traffic on the road. I expect that this is true of any system. The secret for the IR night vision seems to be ensuring that the cameras are pointed away from nearby sources of reflection. Again, expect a period of fine-tuning. The Reolink system provides all of the tools needed to make said adjustments and with a little patience is easily navigated. I have recommended system to friends and do so to you.

$1200 crap ( chinese crap)
I bought this system to see where racoons or getting on my roof. Its the second camera ive bought in 2 yrs. Neither 1 would pick up racoons but i can see cats just fine. They say it will see racoons and its in my settings. I call bs on that if i see a cat but cant see a racoon i dont think thats settings. I have figured out the racoons cast a wavy ghost like vision now. Ive been able to hear racoons just not see them.
