Relatively easy to fit; I made use of the double sided adhesive pads as with most modern toilets, you can’t reach where the bolts would need to go underneath. Looks good and has stayed solidly in place.

After two years of use the quality is still very good, the colour matches my floor, the toilet seat cracked when I bought pure wood one before, this one won't break.

Reputed to be on of the most returned toilet seats however I just fitted two and the fixing screws were around 8mm too long for the mounting insets in the toilets. I cut them down to correct size with a hacksaw and fitting was then relatively easy. Nice quality seats and fitted firmly onto toilet. I would buy them again. Only 4 stars because the manufacturer hasn't done their homework and included alternative screws for shallower mounting insets.

I am 22 stone in weight and hate a toilet seat that slips. The plumber recently installed 3 WCs and the seats were flimsy and slipped. So after research, I bought this and have now installed it on all WCs in house. After a year of use, I am very pleased with them. The seat is both very comfortable and never slips. The lid is heavy and has a beautiful soft closure action, unlike others. Press the release button which allows you to clean the pan easily. Easy to install and worth watching the Youtube video. I strongly recommend this product.

After less than two weeks the soft closure mechanism failed. Have had these seats before with no problem so this may be a one off. Have reordered another plus spare in the hope these will not fail as they are nice seats.

I bought this for my Mum, we didn't get to fit it as the bathroom was being renovated we decided to keep the toilet as it wasn't old and felt was wasteful but the loo seat was unsalvageable, so while that was being done we had to wait and eventually fitted the day AFTER the return date, unfortunately we found that the click/button mechanism was broken and it did not stay attached to the brackets.I contacted Croydex and to their credit, after a photo and email back and forth they replaced the item and sent another one within a week. Very happy, works perfectly and my Mum is very happy.In terms of quality it's great, fab colour, feels really sturdy and I'm sure the one we received first was a rogue seat! Just fitted this item. The instructions were reasonably straightforward but needed reading through a couple of times. Main problem for me was that this installation is essentially a one shot deal. There is no way to re-install if it doesn’t work. The instructions warn against over tightening the fastening screws so I erred on the side of caution.Unfortunately once I had the seat in place it was not solidly fixed. I tried to take it off but was unable to for fear of breaking something. Having said all that, the seat has been used a few times as it is and actually doesn’t move when in use.Quality seems to be good for the price so time will tell if this £36 punt was worth it.
