Works perfectly!!!
I was able to install this unit on a network camera system and allow the manager to control a NVR device with a wireless mouse from his office some 120' away.

Exactly what you are looking for. Especially with self powering over Ethernet.
If your looking for a product like this you already know what your looking for. And there are few products that work this well. I’ve had small issues having it connect at times I just found plugging it all in. And then unplugging the power for a few seconds and plugging it in fixes it. This thing has been an absolute life safer for my servers and great to stream a game or video in another room. The power over Ethernet works great even over long distances. Zero issues with the power over Ethernet which I was concerned about. And the power over Ethernet can be powered from either end. I plan to buy more for my home.

Died after just 3 months
Originally the device worked great and picture was clear. However, after only using it maybe once a week for 3 months the device no longer works. The ethernet port lights of green, but no data is being transferred (yellow light doesn't blink). Tried using different Ethernet cables, HDMI cables, computers, monitors, etc. Also tried to fully reboot it multiple times without it working. Even left it shut off for a whole day and plugged it back in to no avail.Currently just an expensive paper weight. Would not recommend.

Took some trial-and-error, but works great once everything is perfect
My goal was to use my computer in two places. It's one part convenience (I can work inside or in the detached office), part insurance (I can keep the expensive hardware in the house, far from rental clients), and part functionality (the tower won't be adding any fan noise to my recording studio audio). I have identical 4K monitors in both locations, with a 100 ft. Cat7 cable between them.At first, I couldn't figure out why the screen was blacking out randomly for a few seconds at a time. I thought maybe the CAT cable wasn't keeping up with video, control, and audio simultaneously, or it was a shielding issue (based on other comments). After troubleshooting everything I could think of, I got new HDMI cables that I knew would be version 2.1. That made the blacking out go away and now it's working flawlessly. So, make sure to try that, if you're having issues. An HDMI is a CAT cable with a different connector; a cheap one might not keep up with 4K/60.There are no drivers to install and the housing and ports all appear solid. Overall, I'm satisfied with the money saved over more expensive options. If you have the money and don't want any hassle, maybe a more expensive one would be better. But, they might all have the same quirks.

KVM does not pass an Elgato Streamdeck+ (USB 1.1 only)
These work as expected which is great. Wireless keyboard dongles must be plugged directly into the unit (a USB hub will not work). I was also unable to get an Elgato Streamdeck Plus to work on the far side. Ive tested the Streamdeck positively on a USB 2.0 connection so Im assuming the device only supports USB 1.0. Oh well. Still really good for what it is. 60hz 4k with 4096x2160 television worked as expected. Was able to extract audio and plug in speakers on the far side. Audio quality was fine. They make another more expensive unit (~$250 USD) that passes USB2.0 but does not have an audio output jack. UHD-EXB400UR-K . Detchnically you could then use a Streamdeck+ and buy a cheap USB to headphone dongle and get the functionality I was hoping for. Would also need to test a USB hub so I could also throw in my keyboard and mouse.

Priced well, but uses compression at high frame rates
It works, and it's priced well, BUT it 100% drops the quality when you use anything above 30fps at 4K. Even on a static image, you can see your desktop get blurrier when you change the refresh rate.

Great Extender
Purchased this for my golf simulator. The PC is in the house, and the projector is in the garage. This extender works perfectly for the HDMI connection as well as the USB connection for the keyboard and mouse.
