Q: Is the body fat reading on this scale almost same as dexa scan or are the reading off by alot? And is the weight accurate on this scale or way off?

Ok here’s what I’ve experienced within the last two days. I’ve been in bootcamp now for 6 weeks and every week we get measured with the inbody composition scales that costs around $6000. I wanted something for home but the inbody home version is $350. I didn’t want to spend more than $100 so saw this one. The fat preventage, water weight percentage and muscle mass are way off. Example my my fat percentage in the inbody is 16.7% vs 23.4 with this and that’s using the athlete mode. If I use standard mode it’s 28%. That’s insane!

Q: can you see the weight in kilo gram or only in libs?

You can switch Weight Units to KG, LB, or ST: LB in the app. Also for height you have the option of CM and INCH

Q: Battery stopped charging; have only been able to charge it once. Doesn’t come with a charge cable or instructions; how does one replace the batteries?

It’s supposed to have a usb cable for charging, but it will not have a plug, you’ll need to connect it to an adapter like for an older iPhone then plug into a wall, or a USB powered port somewhere.

Love these scales following initial set up (pairing instructions could be better). Once paired to my phone they are simple to use, open App, stand on scales holding the sensors and everything you need to know about your body is measured and there in the app for your perusal.
