"What's in the box?"
I searched carefully on the product page and couldn't find a listing of "what's in the box". This was the least expensive sling I could find. All the others included nail clippers and other items which I didn't want.I could find no clear indication anywhere if the hanging hooks and straps were included or the only item was the sling.Decided I can improvise the straps and hooks if needed because didn't want to spend more. Pleasantly surprised, the straps and hooks are included with the sling. (Check the photo.)The cats don't like it. But getting a cat into the sling and trimming the nails is MUCH faster than struggling nail by nail while trying to hold the cat.Another commenter mentioned the animal escaping.I may follow up with a head cover purchase. One cat REALLY didn't like it and tried to scratch and bite while in the sling. She escaped once. Then I put a large sock over her head. That calmed her so she didn't even try to escape again and I was able to complete the nail trimming easily because she stopped struggling. The other cat just complained about hanging in the sling but she didn't try to scratch or bite.Depending on your cat, if you need this to trim nails, you might be wise to consider a head cover too.

Helps some
Our senior cat needs sub q every other day due to bad kidneys. He is a squirmer and this helps some. I wish there was better support for the head but it works. With the stomach strap on it leaves little room to get the needle in. I have to be a bit creative. If the strap was thinner or gave a gap to put needle in I think it would be better. If just using to cut nails maybe it would be better.

Functional, affordable, too small
Order 1 size larger. We got a large for our 49 pound border collie and 50 pound Aussie, and it works but seems small, like it might be hard on the circulation in their hind legs.

Best invention!
Our two kittens love this because it means treats. One will lie down on the harness and meow loudly because sheâs so excited.Plan ahead. This is a 2-3 person job! Have lots of lickable treats ready. Lock the other cats up or they will interfere. Have your implements ready: we do nail clipping and tooth brushing. For the long hair kitten, we add a little fluff maintenance on the rear which adds the need for a third person. The harness is nice and hand washable. Good for the kittens but my male cat is growing quickly and we will need another size up next month .I was perplexed about where to hang it at first. I couldnât tell if it came with a stand. It did not. But lucky for us, we have a power tower that we could hang the kitty harness on.

Epic Fail
This was an epic fail. I put my cats front paws in holes and then went to do his rear paws but when I tried that he pulled out of the front. It was a back and forth struggle and I lost. This harness would work better if it had a Velcro strap to anchor it at front and rear. So as is, a cat will easily get out off before you can hang him up. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Best purchase. Best option
I was looking for an option that was the hammock and hardware only. I didnât need the clippers or file. This was just what I needed and the lowest priced. We go religiously to the groomers for our pups nails but they recently had a change in staffing and the new girl wouldnât go short enough, this was making us go in more frequently and cost double. So for $9.99 I thought it was worth a try!! Once I was able to get them into the hammock it was like a sedating effect .. they both chilled out and didnât squirm. I was able to get the job done!! I plan on doing this more frequently to hopefully push the quick back so we can get their nails short enough to be comfortable and last time

Awesome! All the happy customer buzz words!
I have a dachshund/maybe chihuahua or other small dog breed mix. Kind of looks like Santaâs helper from Simpson but with stubby stout legs. Heâs awesome, so smart, so agreeable, and even the vet says⌠âhe lets me do anything, until you get to those feetâŚâ It is like heâs being tortured. Weâve tried treats, holding him like a baby, a nail grinder, two different types of nail clippers, wrapping him in a doggie blanket, a muzzle. None of it works. But his nails grow so fast and he had one nearly in his pad. The last time he was at the vet he came back a mess! His whole face looked red and his eyes were bloodshot. They sent us home with trazadone and I decided there has to be another option! Then my friend told me about this method and here we are. Just did our first trimming tonight, granted his face wasnât one of happiness and excitement (more like paranoia and we did have to hang him off the door frame so he was a bit higher than some of the other dogs Iâve seen in pics) but I was able to trim all the nails with nary a whimper! So happy to have found this. Also pretty awesome that it comes with so many attachments and even decent nail clippers. Very satisfied!! Also a great price for everything you get but as the old Mastercard commercials go⌠ânail trimming without having to wrestle your dogâŚ.. priceless!!â
