Brought Xbox One back to life.
The media could not be loaded. Upon arrival, I was a little skeptical based on the packaging. I knew it was a knock off from overseas, but still. So going into it with moderate expectations I proceeded to open the package. Inside the cheesy box I found a well packaged power supply and cord. They included a small pamphlet of instructions on how to plug it in and in what order; I.E. wall or system first.I proceeded to get my old second hand Xbox that I bought really cheap to see if it worked. After plugging it all in; which was an easy task as all the connectors were a perfect fit and are sturdy as well as snug. I hit the power button and it instantly turned on and ran without issue.I noticed some reviews stated that the fan on the power supply would run constantly and is loud. I did not experience the former. The fan on this unit runs while the system is on and shuts off shortly after powering down. You can hear it but once a game is up and running and I’m sitting 10ft away I don’t notice it at all.Now this is a power supply unit and should be treated like any other heat conducting electronic. It can and will get warm. If it’s not in a ventilated area it will get hot. A fan can cool air, it just moves air. If the power supply is in a closed space without fresh air, the fan is just circulation hot air. So keep that in mind when placing it.I had no compatibility issues for the classic Xbox one. It powered the system without issue and keeps the usb powered so the controllers can charge while the system is off. I have about 12hrs of play time on it and a couple weeks of just idle time and have no issues so far. Will update if anything changes.

Does the job
Our xbox one would not turn on. I had called their support and the lady asked me if I had tried another power supply, I had said no because I only had the one it came with. She then immediately wanted me to ship the xbox in for "repair" and would have costed me $160 when she knew based on my feedback that it only needed a new plug. I turned them down and looked into this issue. Turns out the plugs are prone to failing and I was unaware. We had this xbox since it was released in 2013 so I had no clue. Anyways I looked into a replacement and found this one which is much less than the factory one and decided to give it a try. At this point I still wasn't certain that it was the plug that was the official problem I had only heard about that issue. Once the plug came in I set it up and the xbox came back to life! I have had this for a few months now and it is still good. Only issue I have is the noise it makes. It has a fan that is loud when you are not playing anything else but since we keep it in an enclosed tv cabinet it is not as loud as it could be and that noise goes away once you play a show or game anyways. I did buy the "quiet" version so idk. Anyways I don't know how long of life it will have but it does the job for now and I would buy again if needed.

I Doubt it will Last a Year - Updated 02/13/2020
UPDATE (02/13/2020):The device failed today. I smelled burning plastic for about an hour but, as my window was open, I didn't pay it no mind. Turns out, the power brick became so hot the plastic casing began to melt. So, it did not last a year. It did last a bit over six months though so, there's that.Product Name: YCCSKY Y-TEAM Xbox One Power Supply Brick (Advanced Version) AC Adapter Power Supply Charger Cord Replacement for Xbox OneModel # SKY-XB043Purchased: August 7, 2019It worked great out of the box. Impressively quite compared to the Xbox One OEM power brick. But, after about two months, it began emitting a high-pitched grinding noise. Fortunately, it only happened when I turned my Xbox One on. At that time, the noise would end before the Xbox One green loading screen disappeared. After that, the power supply would perform normally again.Well, at first.Unfortunately, as time has progressed, the grinding noise has become much, much louder, lasts much, much longer and now also happens when using apps. Moving the brick around/turning it upside down used to make the noise disappear and/or lower the noise. But that doesn't work anymore. Now, the noise is as loud as a Dentist's drill. I have to turn on my Turbo fan to drown out the noise when watching a TV show or movie. Now, this is not to say the noise is 100% constant. It is not. It happens on and off. Additionally, there is another noise that the power brick emits when in use. It is on par with the Xbox One OEM power brick noise; a loud humming noise. It is not as bad as the grinding noise. So, that's good, I guess. My hunch is that the noise is caused by one of the cooling fans. I had a similar noise issue with an inexpensive CPU PC fan that I had to replace. Also, when I moved the brick around/upside down the noise would change/lower/stop. So, as the fan moved up and down on it's pin, the noise changed. Again, that's just a guess on my part. So, eventually, the fan is going to grind to a halt and the brick will die. I hope that it lasts longer than a year because spending $25.00 on a six month temporary fix is bull-plop. I will update this review if the power brick dies before one year of use.So, if you are looking to purchase this device, pay heed to the reviews that list loudness as a problem. It turns out that they are accurate.Quick Addendum: I added an extra star to my review because I neglected to state that the items works without noise more than with any type of noise. The issue is that when the different noises start they are annoying. Very annoying. So, as I state above, if you purchase this device, noise may/will be an issue eventually.
