Heavy Duty Construction - Runs Large
I bought this raincoat as a waterproof shell to wear over my Canada Goose winter parka in heavy rain conditions. On a recent trip to Iceland, I learned that my CG parka is weather-resistant, but not waterproof. This HH is a high-quality, durably made, knee-length raincoat that is roomy enough to comfortably wear over a heavy parka. Because it is so roomy, you might want to purchase one size smaller than your normal size, unless you're planning to use it as an outer shell like I am.

Best Quality
I learned from Alaskan friends about Helly Hensen years ago. "you will need a rain coat and the only brand to get is H & H. This is my second coat the first one I wore out, it took a long time. What is great about this exact coat: Impertech Waterproof is that it is made with Polyurethane. That makes a serious raincoat not so heavy and it is much more breathable. They make other raincoats so you need to look for those marked Polyurethane. As far as I can tell they do not make this long coat in a women size which is too bad. I wear a mans L, a bit narrow in the hips and long on the arms but I don't care - I stay comfortable, dry and warm while fishing for walleye on Lake of the Woods, USA.

Good Quality Rain Jacket
This is a good quality rain jacket. Well made and very functional. I ordered a large, expecting to have room underneath to layer if needed and it didn't disappoint. In fact, it might be a little too large. A medium would likely fit, although I don't know if sleeve length would be too short. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the color. It may be advertised as green-brown but I can't see any green, it's straight brown.

Color
The color is more of a brown than green.

Keeps you dry
Keeps you dry. I typically wear an XL, but purchased a Large. It runs on the larger size. I love it and would recommend.

Very satisfied
There comes a time in life when you must decide how to live in the rain, am I an umbrella or am I a raincoat? Umbrellas leave you without a hand, they are big and have pointed ends which make you a hazard to others. I've chosen to be a raincoat. simple, utilitarian, unobtrusive.I previously had a waist length raincoat that I liked but in heavier rain leggings were required. This 3/4 coat is really impressive. Good quality, heavy but breathable and the 3/4 length gives to allow mobility. Very happy with this purchase.
