Clorox® Pool&Spa™ Swimming Pool Algaecide and Clarifier, Prevents and Treats Pool Algae, Clears Water, 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

This is my go-to algaecide and I've used it when opening our pool from winter, and to clear up our pool after our D.E. filter grid failed and I had to wait 5 days for a replacement grid set to arrive. To use this treatment effectively, be sure to backwash your filter first. Then, I recommend shocking your pool, brushing and vacuuming your pool, then pouring an entire jug of this algaecide along the perimeter of your pool. Allow your pool pump to operate overnight and wake up to a sparkling clear pool!

This worked so well!! After a few weeks of unplanned neglect, our pool was starting to grow algae and turn green and murky. We don't have a Leslie's or any other type of pool supply store close to us, and delivery for some reason wasn't an option for what I usually buy in-store. I ended up buying three of these and pouring them straight into the pool. After some daily brushing, running the filter for 4 hours a day for a few days, and cleaning the filters (which I would highly recommend for those trying to bounce back from algae growth), our pool is back to crystal clear and algae-free! Needless to say, this will now be part of the weekly maintenance!

This product worked great in my above ground pool. Went from cloud and hazy to clear overnight. I didn’t have noticeable algae in the pool but my viewing window was beginning to show signs of algae. It is now gone and my chlorine doesn’t seem to “work” as hard. Do yourself a favor and use this as a preventive to start with.

Works well. Add a few ounces every week. A little more after heavy pool use or after a storm. No one wants a green pool.

Kills the green stuff. This is nice fresh chemicals. Cost too much but i did not have to drive to buy it
