Couple of hours is more than enough

The story seems senseless. But it really speaks sense. The younger one should understand the adult. And in the dessert, under the star, the boy might be waiting, let us write to the narrator, immediately after we see the prince, who don't answer and keep on questionning. And this stars are dedicated to that smile, that tear, which the narrator is still feeling in the starlit sky... These five stars are meant to the narrator, who can see more of it, from somewhere away, he might be searching for the prince in the other planets or stars after a while of life watching the tiny house of the prince from earth. In his heavenly abode, he might have met his friend and the beautiful rose. It's a star to them

A book that will teach you life philosophy in easy words

"𝑰𝒕 π’Šπ’” 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π’•π’Šπ’Žπ’† π’šπ’π’– 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 π’˜π’‚π’”π’•π’†π’… 𝒇𝒐𝒓 π’šπ’π’–π’“ 𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 π’Žπ’‚π’Œπ’†π’” π’šπ’π’–π’“ 𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒔𝒐 π’Šπ’Žπ’‘π’π’“π’•π’‚π’π’•"The little prince is the 4th most translated book in the world. It's the story about philosophy and how you define things in life. When a six-year-old draws a Boa constrictor swallowing an animal he is advised by the grown-ups to put his drawings aside and focus on geography. That same six-year-old turns into an aeroplane pilot. He bogs down in the Deserts of Sahara due to a broken engine. Next day, he is waked up by an odd little voice who invites him to draw a sheep. The little voice is of none other than The Little Prince who came from another planet. The two become friends and then the little prince tells him how much he fell in love with a mysterious rose on his planet but then realised it was all a lie.And now wishes to find the meaning of his life. On his way, he visits several planets and met a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and finally an explorer. But the true advise that he gets is from a 'canny fox' on earth.A one-sitting classic read, it is full of perspectives on every page. The book will remind you of a lost child inside you and will really make you feel that the things grown-ups run for have limited relevancy.Highly recommended for grown-ups.

For the child in every adult!

I was absolutely lost while reading this book as I was not just reading it; I lived each word of it, and my heart ached when, in the end, the little prince went back to his planet. The world is full of books filled with diverse, intense emotions, and this book comes as a fresh breeze, as a small break from everything important and urgent, it is one book that brings a smile to your face without asking you to relate or to focus. Just read and sink yourself in.

Nice story, Not so nice print quality

The story is beautiful - engaging for children and thought-provoking for adults. 4 stars for that. But the edition I received from Shrishti publishers was not upto the mark. The print quality of the illustrations in the book was quite poor. And a paragraph on page 26 was left incomplete. Had to return it. 2 stars for this.Overall a 3-star experience.

What happens when 'B 612' meets 'The Earth'?

What a wonderful book! How often do you come across a book as an adult that puts a child's world so clearly? ExupΓ©ry's master class writing is in depicting the child's world as B612 which has 3 volcanoes, a flower, and a sheep, and how the child was busy removing the baobabs before meeting the adult world which is the earth that has 111 kings, 7,000 geographers, and so on making it boring and complicated. The two worlds (B612 & The Earth) meet through a set of questions and answers exchanged between the pilot and the little prince. Before coming to the last planet (the earth) how the little prince was bored of the grownups was extraordinarily depicted as his journey away from B612. As an adult, this book is glaring truth to realize how we ignore children's surprises on small things just because we've no child left within us.The little prince meeting each person on each planet represents the grownups who are so absorbed in their own lives. They are just so materialistic, narcissistic, and whatnot? This is a subtle reminder to the adults that they often forget to sit on the other side of the table where ordinary things are nothing but wonder.Through the little prince, I truly realized why certain ordinary things are so special. That's only because we "tame" them.Lastly, this book wakes you up to save the inner child in you no matter what your age is, and above all look at a child's world with the same awe and wonder.Without a doubt, I highly recommend this book.

Review about the physical product, not the story

The book is bit smaller than A5 size but the print is very good in size.It is a hardback. The cover illustrations are beautiful.Original Illustrations have been used in this book along with some new ones and all of them are at best resolutions possible. Delight to eyes.It looks really good on the shelf and I have imagined myself gifting this to my young cousins. The only problem: Spine is too stiff. You can't break into the book without literally breaking it.Well, just be gentle to it.Just buy it, you won't regret it.
