Simple, effective and cheap
I have a few old phones, tablets, and 4G modems. I use some of them occasionally and I didn't want a contract. Sometimes I just want to test equipment (I build my own computers).I tried a Lebara SIM and found that it really did work first time in a modem/router. Just pop it in and I was connected to a 4G phone network. I have a tablet with 4G and I found that I could put the SIM in in England and go to Europe and stay in touch. So, I think Lebara is excellent for occasional use and testing because you aren't saddled with a contract. I'm particulary pleased that you can get small chunks of dta for only £5 for 5GB.

Not good for internet or downloads
Slow internet on my phone and can’t do any downloads even though it stated it had good download speed, I brought this for my internet dongle and it’s awful.

The labra SIM card
The card was a good thing to buy it works very well especially for international calls as well as text messaging.

Great price, intermittent connection speed
This card worked well as a stop-gap measure, though experienced some drop-outs on video/calls - compared to the more expensive EE data cards.Based on my experience with 3 bar signal, it was good enough for general Internet usage, but perhaps not ideal for the demands of work from home.

Works as a data card in TP-Link M7650!
After finally giving up the contract on the constantly failing signal in my MiFi, I decided to take a chance and buy a TP-Link M7650 then give a few different network providers a go before committing to a new contract.Having compared the major networks (which all cost £30+ a month for their data only SIMs), I discovered that the smaller networks typically 'piggyback' off the larger ones, and Lebara actually use Vodafone yet offer better value.P.S. I live in the UK and used the OFCOM website to find the network with the best mobile phone signal for my address. So if, like me, they show the best being Vodafone, the Lebara SIM is definitely worth a try.Although this SIM is really designed for use in a phone (i.e. it includes texts and minutes), it works exactly the same as a data only SIM in the TP-Link, and for a lower price. Better still, for the first time ever, I've actually got a full 4g MiFi signal!

Brilliant
Got this as I was low and use Giffgaff but i won't lie this is miles better even have 5g option now and data is much more responsive and reliable everything is unlimited I got the app too, not only do you get all that I believe it 100 or 1000 international minutes which is good value for money as an added option if someone goes on hols at least you know you can remain in contact. Plus you get 30 GB of roaming data which would be enough monthly in UK for the average person who doesn't sit on a phone but that's just a perk apparently for outside of the UK I mean come on talk about value for money how is lebara not the go to nowadays and then I find out if I renew my plan I get 50% off I presume the £25 plan for the first 3 months! Don't hesitate to jump on the bandwagon

Didn’t work. Waste of money.
Was a data and text only sim I purchased. Bought it prior arriving in England and had it delivered to family. It wouldn’t work. I purchased this because I didn’t want to use my Australian sim over there.Had to turn my data on to contact the company when it didn’t work, totally defeating the purpose of buying this sim. To be told I have to put it in a phone to activate. Did this and it still didn’t work. Gave up and went to Virgin phones and purchased another when we got to the UK. Waste of money.
