We want these for outside of our house to hang lights from. They are really sticky so we hope they will last until next Christmas. We hope the plastic will not degrade in the summer heat.

Plenty of hooks in the kit and they come in a nice plastic container you can reuse for storing other things as it closes well. Hold up my LED lights well as well as fake leaves and flowers - I have quite a lot of them and one hook manages to hold both flowers and lights without putting much pressure on them. Been a few months already and none fell off - they're lightweight and were easy to use on the wall and glue holds well. They're transparent and quite small so nearly invisible on my white wall.

Spent 2 hours putting my lights up last night, 50% of the clips didn't last 2 minutes before becoming unstuck, woke up this morning and most of the lights I put up are now on the floor as the adhesive did not last the night.The clips I put up in the house, perfectly fine as long as the lights are not heavy...Overall, I would give these clips a 0/5, but the only way to do that is to not put a review and then you wouldn't know how bad these are... advertised as outdoor clips, not even close.DO NOT BUY for outdoor use

Did the job and was brilliant for putting up flat LED/strip lighting up the wall and ceiling. A little bit fiddly to get the strip light into the hooky-bit, and get the adhesive off, but if you have some patience it’s easy. Held the strip lighting perfectly for well over a year, and only came down as we were moving.When we did take the lighting down, these took paint with it and they couldn’t be re-used - not an issue for us this time but might be for some. Really good value for money.

Tried these indoors first, for some string lights that are quite heavy (they have balls with lights inside them). They have been up over a week now and so far, so good. Ive used them on a wall and around a wooden frame that in some parts are pretty rough thanks to my cats plucking 😅(DIY built in wardrobe). Easy to apply, holds the cable in very well. Will definitely be ordering some more and trying them outside next.
