This filter definitely improved our overall water quality.
These are very effective filters. We change them at 4 months for a small two-person home with a Pelican PC600 whole-house system. They could go 6 months, but the improved water quality is worth the shorter cycle. The water taste definitely improved even though it was good with the Pelican. This is a great pre-filter.

Been using for years paired with a sediment filter.
These are really good filters that I have been using for years in a multi-cartridge situation to ensure our water is as clean as we can get it without using an RO system. They are very easy to install. I replace ours twice a year to maintain clean water.

Good whole house filter price!
Better price than lowes. I save money on these. Plus I can upgrade my Filter system to a two filter on the cheap later.

Filter is a filter
A little tough to make sure it was lined up properly in my housing, may be the housing. Worked well for a month then water started smelling again. Literature said it should last for 6 months. So we will try another one and see if it’s any better.
