Hello. Retail pricing of the Sketchboard Pro is based on combined costs of engineering, materials, tooling of parts, assembly, global supply chain distribution, and the quantity of units made. Sketchboard Pro is new, the first of its kind, and currently manufactured in limited quantities. We created Sketchboard at our small independent art studio and it’s manufactured overseas in quantities that meet current demand and that we can manage. As demand and retail traffic grows, the associated costs and prices should decrease.
