Be sure to calibrate it and set blade width!
To the fellow with the video and one star review, the footage shows that he clearly didn't set his blade width before using it, as the display goes to zero when he resets it, so cuts will always be ~1/8" too short. Since you zero the scale when lining your board up against the waste side of the blade, you have follow the instructions and enter a blade width (typically 1/8") to account for the kerf when you make cuts.Beyond that, it seems to be well designed and much more solidly constructed than I was expecting. My only wish is that they had figured out more mounting options, as the adapter board for saws with short fences is expensive for what it is.

Impressive Quality – Exceeded Our Expectations
Value for money:We were genuinely surprised by how well-made this caliber measuring tool is! My husband, who’s pretty particular about his tools, was really impressed the moment he held it. The build feels solid and durable, and the measurements are incredibly accurate – no fuss, no guesswork. It’s easy to use, even for someone who isn’t a pro, and the display makes reading measurements a breeze. We’ve used it for a few projects now and it hasn’t disappointed once. Definitely a great buy for the price – highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable measuring tool

It works as advertised.
Once set up properly, it reads within a 32th consistently. It was kind of a pain to set up but a couple of YouTube videos and all was fine. It's a little better than a stop block since you can repeat cuts alot longer than your miter saw fence (unless you have a permanent large built-in base).

Had such hopes
I really wanted this tool to work. It looked as if it would suit my needs but immediately after unpacking and installing, I ran into problems. The included directions are not accurate so I went to the website. Finally after watching a couple Youtube videos, I got it working; however, this was short lived. As soon as I turned it off and back on, the blade thickness which I just stored wasn't saved. I repeated the process as in the directions and the video. Still no luck. I tried it on a few short (less than 24") pieces and it worked well. The next piece was 52" long; it was off more than 1/4". Being relatively unfamiliar with the device, I ruled out user error and carefully repeated the instructions and steps several times making sure I followed each step. I had another employee try their hand. Still off. Very sad. I had to return the device for a refund. It is a good idea but good ideas don't make up for poor accuracy.

Speed Improvements? Your mileage may vary.
I was not happy with this product and ended up returning it. I find the claims of vast speed improvements from using this tool to be overblown.Perhaps it's a "skill issue" as the kids say, but I had two main problems with this. First, you have to make sure to carefully slide the entire length of the board you are cutting under the wheel, making sure to keep the board against your saw's fence in order to get max accuracy. When you are making long cuts and sliding the bulk of an 8 foot board down the fence, that's easier said than done...at least for me it was. I found that it was faster for me to just measure with my tape and mark my boards, then I can put the boards quickly against my fence with my mark already near the blade. This also has an accuracy of 32nds of an inch. Typically, you would think that's a good thing. But as you approach your desired cut length, the finesse required to ease up to your measurement as the 32nds tick by was just too much for me to be efficient.I am an absolute novice, so if you are experienced, your experience may be different than mine. I cannot complain about the accuracy of the tool. Even though the calibration instructions were a little vague, I was able to setup my kerf on the device, and I was getting accurate cuts. My main complaint is simply about the purported time savings, which I did not personally experience.
