Worthy of its Name
After my failed expedition with the BLACK+DECKER Electric Fly Swatter, I returned to my provisioner in the Amazon. They recommended another model called The Executioner. I was skeptical of the name, but my quarry was elusive and I needed something more effective. When it arrived, I examined it - a simple design lacking the excessive safety features that plagued its predecessor. Pressing the button, I heard the distinctive whine of a high-voltage generator and smiled. Returning to my hunting ground in the screen porch, I spotted my prey and armed the device. I crept carefully up to the window but the fly spotted me! As it flew off I was able to catch it in the device's wires. A bright, indigo flash was accompanied by a satisfying crack and the fly dropped from the air, landing on the boards below. I smiled, admiring the effectiveness of the weapon and turned my attention to bigger pests like the hornet...A note of caution though! This device is not for young ones! Without any safety features it would be very easy to turn the device on oneself! It's best to keep far away from curious children and Johnny Knoxville.

It works. It lasts. It's rather expensive. It's worth it
First off, mosquitos are incredibly hard to kill. And with Dengue around (I live in the tropics) it has become critical to do so.And rackets are the most non-chemical effective weapon yet. Of all I tried, the Executioner has been my favorite for years. It is relatively expensive but it works and lasts.I love the feedback: flash, thunder, and sometimes smoke (unlike the overly protected Black and Decker I also got, which lets you wondering if you made the kill.Words of caution: be careful not to hit something hard in the frenzy of the battle and break the racket. Finally, I like the use of standard batteries, but do consider rechargeables. And don't touch it while pressing the button: it won't harm you but it's unpleasant).

Definitely well named!
I have had some similar to this in the past, but this one is definitely more powerful! Rarely do the pests survive being zapped with this one! Really hard to get them on the wall, window or floor, as there is the half inch gap they will continue crawling around in, but if they do happen to go up and touch it, they will be zapped!

Works great.
It definitely destroys flys! One pop and there are wings and legs all over.

They don't make them like they used to
Had an executioner go out last week after using it for a year almost everyday (country living tends to mean flies) with no issues. This version doesn't 'pop' or carry the same charge as the previous version from the UK. Many times the fly doesn't die. But it's decent, a bit flimsy as 2 wires disconnected after only having it for 2 days. Still working but doesn't seem like it will for long.

Never ending carnage!
We had a yellow jacket nest in a support column on our porch. They were accessing it through a small gap in the boards. We used a rubber band to hold the ON button down and positioned the racket in front of the hole.We emptied the racket three times (shop vac from a safe distance). Ended up buying another racket because cleaning dead wasp off the grille is hard. This thing is amazing on larger bugs.

Doesn't kill wasps on contact which is what I bought it for
Just doesn't kill wasps just barely stuns them and agitates them and ticks them off
