OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Dough Blender and Cutter

My hubby does all the baking so I thought I would get him this dough blender to help him out. He loves it and says it makes mixing dough so much easier and more effective. Oxo makes great products and we own many of them.

Sturdy and easy to use

Great product! I have been using a wire dough blender cutter for years in the dark on how much work it was causing me. I got this OXO mixer and could not believe how much easier it was to use. If you are using an older dough blender to mix with try this out you will be very happy that you did.

Solid and well-made. Perfect size. We use it far more for making guacamole than for dough and it works great.

In my opinion, the blades are too far apart to get a good cutting in of fat for pastries, pie crusts, and such. Also a bit too big unless you're using a large bowl.

This is the best style of pastry blender for chopping whole hard-boiled eggs for egg salad or just the yolks for deviled eggs. It also works well for chopping soft foods for baby food. I bought one like it years ago in Belgium and raising my children and grandchildren, used it until I wore it out. This year I am a new great-grandma, twice over, and I am happy to have found this one, even better designed than the other. Maybe it will become a family heirloom, along with my cast iron, some of it from my mother. Built to last. Five stars.

This pastry blender is heavy duty and sharp. I was replacing a very old flimsy one so really impressed with the weight of this one. It's a good size and weight that feels really sturdy. Highly recommend.
