I’m going to start by saying that I look at pictures and barely read descriptions which tends to get me into dilemmas. In this case it all worked out. My elderly Momma needed a new alarm clock because hers doesn’t have a normal AM/PM alarm way to be set up. It’s probably military time but regardless she needed a new one. I saw this one and said oh perfect. It CLEARLY shows AM/PM on it and it will be super easy to set. When I removed the item from the package, I busted out laughing. I have small hands and this thing fit in my palm. The pics have every day items to show how big errr small this clock is. When I showed my mom, she asked what the h e double hockey sticks I was holding. When I showed and told her, we both busted out laughing together. We plugged it in and tested the alarm. Setting it was super easy and it’s super loud when the alarm goes off. Don’t let the size deter you; in this instance size doesn’t matter (insert winky face emoji). The clock is across the room but still visible from here Mom sits. You can either plug it in or use batteries. Definitely worth the $

Clock functionality is perfect! No more tedious fiddling around with frustrating dials multiple, etc. We are Seniors and enjoy this Sharp easy to assemble and add back up batteries for a power outage. A big big upgrade from older more expensive clock ⏰ models. Easy to set the time and alarm on this digital wonderful display clock!Thank you Amazon and Sharp manufacturer company! I bought an alarm clock a year ago on Amazon; it had all the bells and whistles - duel alarms, large lit numbers, etc. Well, the alarm on it just stopped working which irritated me because that is the reason for the purchase.Although I have an alarm on my phone, I did not want to use that because my phone stays on my nightstand in case of family emergencies and I need to have to get up to turn the alarm off. Otherwise, I would just hit snooze and sleep on.I just needed a very simple alarm clock; one that just plugs in, shows the time and makes a loud noise for whatever time I set it for - plus - the ability to have the alarm off on those mornings where I do not have to get up. I did a deep search and finally found this one - it is perfect.It is not huge but big enough for me to be able to see the time in red lit numbers. It plugs into an outlet and I was able to set the time and the alarm without having to look at the enclosed instructions - it was that simple. It has an alarm on/off button so that I can turn it off when it is not needed. It DOES have a snooze button, which I will probably never use and it is black, which is a bonus because it fits my decor. The alarm noise is just loud enough to wake me up....IT IS PERFECT!

Perfectly basic alarm clock. Great small size, clean design, easy to operate. Dinged it one star because I didn’t realize the battery back-up wouldn’t operate the display — so in outages, there’s no way to see the time. And that was the main reason for getting it to replace an old clock with no battery back-up. Guess it’s a plus not to have to reset it when the power is back — and nice to be able to rely on the alarm during an outage. But we don’t use the alarm. (Seems plenty loud if you do.) Just wanted to pass this along for anybody else who hopes to see the time when the power is off.

It works. Plugs into the wall. Has 3 brightness settings. battery back up (for when the power goes out) Simple to use. Perfect.

Just received my clock today and am very happy with my purchase. The clock was very easy to assemble and set the time. Wish I would have ordered it sooner. Read the reviews before I ordered and they were all good. I hated my old clock, it was a pain to operate. Would recommend this clock to everyone. it is small & doesn't take up much room on the night stand but is large enough and the display is good. Have not tried the alarm yet but I am sure it will be fine.

The media could not be loaded. Very basic, works as intended. Bought it for our kids’ room. The aesthetic is fine. Unfortunately, there is a *very* noticeable hum when plugged in. Not going to return, but if/when the kids manage to break it we will probably try something even more analog.Full disclosure, we live in Army housing overseas so it is plugged in to a 110v outlet that runs on our whole-house transformer. We very rarely have issues except for things with a motor (hair dryer, kitchen aid, etc.) so I doubt that’s the problem, but if it’s a one-off then I suppose that could be it.
