It worked really well straight out of the box.
This is a great quality item. I was going to purchase a much more expensive attena, however, I decided to take a chance on this one. I hooked it up and it emeditatly picked up FM HD channels. My old attena had struggled to reach these stations. In fact it quickly picked up channels before I even got a chance to hang it up. I ended up just stuffing it behind my receiver. It also picked up FM channels that I could not receive before. I would recommend it

Antenna review for Vintage receiver
Works well with my Marantz 2238b. Fitting goes directly into the FM antenna connection, on back of receiver. The antenna stuck on my sliding glass door (window) with ease. Excellent reception, hasn't fallen off the window yet, so I guess it's okay.

Difficult item to find, but worthwhile
This is an extremely difficult item to find because no one uses their amplifiers for stereo reception of radio anymore. I have been using my pc and links to radio stations via bluetooth, but it's a drag since I have a complete stereo system lacking this one antennae and none of the usual stores like pc rich or best buy seemed to carry it. So I was very happy to find it on Amazon and it works really well, but not quite 100% for the really far away stations. Plus, I am in the basement of a building and there is interference from a host of things. However, it works well for the local stations and that is a pleasure.

The antenna works, but it's not very powerful.
The antenna will get you the radio stations that have a strong signal in your area, but if you want to get more stations and clearer sound I would definitely recommend a better antenna.

Needed for my stereo...
Recently started listening to the radio more and realized my reciever didn't have a antenna. Works great!

Shockingly good for the price
I bought this as a cheap and quick antenna to use while my $100 Metz end-loaded dipole shipped from the east coast. I'm using this with a high-dollar audiophile tuner, tuned to a nearby line-of-sight FM transmitter of a radio station that I work for.The $8 Bingfu outperformed the Metz (also sold as the Magnum Dynalab ST-2) by being noticeably quieter, with a better S/N ratio, better dynamics, and far less fussy about setup. This thing is a winner, and it even comes with multiple adapters to make it work with almost every tuner/radio sold into the consumer space. The laws of physics tell me that it's not going to be great for DXing distant stations, but for pulling in locals, you can do a lot worse for more money.

A little antenna with a big antenna complex
I love this part of doing reviews!! This antenna was to be used for a stereo but for a experiment I hooked it up to my TV and this little grabbed me 25 more channels on my TV!!! So how did it work on the stereo? I get crystal clear signal from local areas and very good signal over 60mi away... 60mi, think about how much more channels you get from a radius like that. I love this little antenna that identifies as a BIG BOY antenna.

Like getting a new radio.
Holy cow! This antenna is amazing. One minute to install, and it was like getting a new radio. The number of stations I get clear and strong has doubled or tripled.
