Favorite New Ingredient for Chinese Recipes
I rarely cook Chinese food, but I found a popular recipe that had this rice wine listed a required ingredient. Amazing flavor. My dish could have easily been mistaken for a great dish from PF Chang. It also comes in a very nice box and can be gifted to your favorite home cook.

Bump Up Your Asian Cooking to Restaurant Level
I've used this for years. It adds that authentic Asian taste as nothing else can. I am so glad I was able to find it here, so I no longer have to travel 2 hours to the nearest Asian market to get it.

Another Excellent Flavor for Soup
This is another needed ingredient for Hot and Sour Soup.Flavor is not at all what I expected. Very difficult to describe. Very subtle and meaty?Anyway, a perfect ingredient in Hot and Sour Soup. I use it in my Asian type marinades and flavorings for soup, and meat and vegetable dishes.I think it's too expensive, but you don't need a lot of it.I also think you'll be pleasantly surprised with it's use in your Asian food.Do what I do and just experiment around with it. A very nice, subtle flavor.

Needed for Chinese style takeout recipes
This stuff is apparently needed for a legit Chinese takeout style stir fry. This stuff, a searing hot wok, I didn’t realize what I was missing trying to replicate takeout dishes at home all these years. Game changing.

A Solid Staple in Our Cupboard…
Ugh, what a bummer! I literally bought this a day or so before it went on sale. 🤦♀️ Anyway, this was the only Shaoxing wine we’ve ordered and we liked it enough to reorder again. The bottle came in one of the nicest packaging we’ve ever received from Amazon and it was buffered so well that it made it all in one piece. The container’s pretty large, like the shape and size of a wine bottle. We didn’t even get to complete our first one due to the expiration date and thanks to the folks here, I made sure to check on this bottle upon arrival and luckily ours’ good through November 2027. We solely used this for Asian-inspired dishes and while I’m not the cook in the household, my partner vouched for this product and the meals always came out tasting great with this little helper. So I guess it still has a place to stay in our cupboard since it’s been pretty useful. 😏
