The media could not be loaded. The middle unit which has the radio in it doesn't have composite cable connections on the rear, but rather, on the side, right side. The middle unit also has a speaker in it. The units to the right and left are subwoofers and are connected to the right side of the middle unit. This system has bluetooth, but no CD player. You can connect surround sound speakers via an estimated $30 USB Bluetooth connector, not included, which would plug into the USB port at the front of the middle unit. Whatever you can do with the remote you can do on the front of the middle unit. There is a toggle switch on the right side of the middle Boytone 210FB unit. If you have it turned off, you can't turn it on with the remote or on front until you turn the toggle switch back to "on". If you have the toggle switch to off for awhile, when you turn it back on, wait for it to power up and boot up, before accessing front controls or using the remote. The antenna is not telescopic, but is a wire, and you need to tape it to something, like, a wall, to keep it extended for excellent reception. Overall I like it. Velcro and AAA batteries not included. Velcro used to keep remote from getting lost.

I rarely leave reviews, but being the tech savvy woman I am, I needed to let everyone know about this product.First off, I am not being paid to review this Bluetooth Stereo and this is my honest opinion. I own a Bose System, Sony Wireless Bluetooth speaker, Alexa, I could go on, but this has such amazing sound quality and versatility for what I consider to be a great value.We bought this to replace an antiquated boom box that my husband refused to part with at our automotive repair shop. It was only because the old radio finally broke that he gave in and replaced the old boom box with new technology! When I hooked it up and my husband heard the sound quality and his favorite band Metallica,coming through the speakers he was floored and said, "Wow I should have listened to you awhile ago, this system kicks a$$!"This was cake to set up, it took me literally 4 minutes, and one of those was to install the batteries in the remote, which, by the way, is a nice bonus to have. It is a cinch to stream music directly from our smartphones, or via a SD card or Flash drive if you store music that way. With this system, we stream Pandora and XM radio, mixed with our local FM rock station at the shop, in the bays, and office and the sound quality is amazing. The bass rivals most high end systems. While Bose is the gold standard, for the money this is a great sound system. It can be used in conjunction with your television as a surround sound system if you so choose, or for gaming, which I think would be awesome. We are extremely pleased with our purchase and will be purchasing another.The only con is, which was not an issue for us as we intend to keep this stationary, but if you are looking for a system to cart around with you for the park or a the beach,this is rather bulky, and you would have to be sure to charge the battery, to be able to use it as a portable unit, so this would not be the best system if you are looking for portability. However, for a party or by the backyard pool, this would be a great system. We are actually ordering another one for our cabin in Upstate NY, as the price point and sound quality are a "sound fit" for us!

I had an older stereo system with one speaker that was going in and out with its wired connection. I decided to get this new stereo system which I use when I workout down in my garage. The sound quality is pretty good considering the speakers are only about 4'" x 4" x 6" and the sound at high volume is not distorted. Disappointed a CD/DVD player not included with it, but I can plug in an external CD player if I wanted to. (Haven't tried doing this yet.) Getting the blue-tooth to synch up to my phone (which is what I generally use - YouTube music) when working out, was very challenging. There was a sequence of hitting this button or that button until finally the BT synched up. Lately however I have the routine down where I only need to turn on the stereo, and then pressing the standby button once, and then it connects to my phone. Previously it was trying this or that button until it magically connected. For what I wanted at a reasonable price, I am very pleased with this stereo. I haven't tried using the FM radio yet.

This speaker surprised me with his great sound. Based on its size I would never thought that the sound would be so good.... it was a good gift.

By far this has to be one of the best audio devices that I’ve ever purchased and owned .Multiple reasons , with the first being the decent bookshelf size because it seems no matter where I put this surround sound system ? It looks great .The sound is really one of the best that I’ve heard especially the BASS .Although the connection are on the side and you are able to see the connections , that’s a small price to pay for the quality .One note : the remote is extremely small and it’s not back lit .One other thing to point out : this device is designed for ( NEXT GEN ) , Televisions and phones .Boytone has been around for a while and they have always took time to good quality cabinets to house their components .
