Works well. Male and female parts.
Love the fact this is a make and female part. The plastic o ring does a great job sealing the part to the faucet so there isn't any spraying or dripping. I was able to remove the old aerator and replace w this one in a matter of 10 minutes. It doesn't come w an aerator key that helps remove/replace an aerator from the faucet. But I did have one. Saves you from using a wrench that might scratch the metal part of the aerator or tightening it to much. While this is a great buy, it would be nice if they did throw in a key the same size so you can easily install it in case you don't have tools.

Works
It works great. Used it in an old sink that has no brand on it. Fit just as it should.

Aerator with plenty of flow for the right price
Works just like the old one with plenty of flow and for the right price. Nothing fancy!

Suitable replacement for the price paid
They both work fine and the price paid beats places like Home Depot and Lowes. Waterflow is adequate. My sinks are over 25 years old, so I didn't need anything expensive. You will have to tighten past hand tight, so make sure when using pliers/channel locks that you don't put too much pressure on the nozzle, you don't roughen it up (use cloth or papertowel between tool and nozzle), and you don't over tighten. Be civilized when you are installing it.

What a difference these made!
My bathroom sink had a (presumably) original aerator in it, and the flow was getting weaker and weaker. When I tried to remove it (to clean out any muck in the filter), the housing ripped. (It did take me some time to get the old metal out of the faucet!)Putting in one of these new aerators caused the water to come out in a nice aerated stream -- suitable for cleaning toothbrushes or whatever. These work!

Good Fit
These fit well on my bathroom American Standard faucets, just measure and make sure you need the 15/16" diameter. My fixtures are brushed, these are polished but no big deal. As someone posted before, I received two males not one female and one male. The water flow is well aerated, water volume is just right for me.
