Q: What is the diameter of the base?

the bases are 45 millimeters or 1 and 15/16

Q: What is the diameter of the aperture?

1 3/4" diameter of opening to the outside of the VERY thin glass, unable to bend the metal measuring tape for accurate inside diameter, but my guess would be that the glass itself is only about 1/16-1/32 of an inch thick.

Q: The second picture shows Canadian glencairn glass, which is different from the first picture. So what I'm getting from here?

You get the slimmer top glass not the Canadian.....don't know why the Canadian is pictured. I love the glasses!

Q: Anyone know if an identical, but 10 - 12 oz, version of this glass exists?

There are many similarly shaped glasses , in similar quality of glass, with larger capacities. Start with Stölze and Spiegelau.
