Inexpensive way to get some real heat
I have occasional need for something that gets hotter than a hair dryer, and I was surprised at how affordable this was. I wouldn’t expect it to hold up very long under heavy use, but I’ve used it several times and it’s great, so who knows. A lot of times an inexpensive alternative is perfectly suitable for a DIYer.

Two times used ... so far so good.
I've used it twice without issue. Since I may only use a heat gun once a year or so, I didn't want to spend a lot. This one seems to fit the need.Yes, it runs very hot - and it remains very hot after use. Stand it on the back (not hot) end when finished and don't let anything touch the hot end for a while.

$20 is $20
works as it should. the tip is very large and stays hot for a very long time so be careful about burning yourself. other than that, for $20 you can’t go wrong if you need a heat gun. I almost bought the ryobi one because i have ryobi tools, but i couldn’t justify spending an additional $50 for basically the same product with a cord

Gets the Job Done Without Breaking the Bank
I picked up this heat gun to help with wrapping my bike, and while it feels a bit on the lighter side in terms of build quality, it definitely does what it’s supposed to. It heats up quickly, the adjustable settings are easy to use, and it helped me get a smooth, clean wrap without any issues. It might not feel super high-end, but for the price, it’s a solid tool—especially if you’re doing occasional projects like vinyl wrapping, shrinking tubing, or removing stickers. It’s lightweight, simple, and effective. If you're looking for something affordable that works without a fuss, this heat gun is a great pick.

Works gteat
I can’t believe I went 69 years without a heat kind. This works great for heat shrinking electrical connectors. I’m sure I can find many more projects to use it.
