I think it’s pretty awesome lol
I don’t know what all these silly reviews are about saying “oh it’s annoying” and “Ergh it’s just cheap plastic”…well, yes? I’m not sure what they expected from an £11 toy axe! I find the product hilarious and the whole family laugh and repeat what the man’s voice says when the button is pressed. It’s now a running joke in our family! My son has ADHD and breaks everything as he’s quite rough and he hasn’t broken this yet! So durability I would say for a basic cheap toy axe is pretty banging 👍🏻

Cheap
Awful, didn’t light up, flimsy plastic. Not worth £10

Didn’t last as long as I expected but still a reasonable product
This came through as an imitation ‘Minecraft’ item bought for my son who I have to confess is fond of ‘bashing’ things and at the moment is borderline obsessed with Minecraft so given it’s price relative to the official ‘Mojang’ item, For a present as reward this seemed to be ideal. And I have to say it looks good - batteries were easy to fit and the sounds worked well initially. However, despite it being less than half the cost of the Official merchandise, the plastic did eventually crack after repeated use, and although this does not render the item unusable it did deteriorate to the point it needed scrapping after 4 months (of significant use I must say.p) so it may be something of a false economy but with a child that has more finesse, it’s definitely worth consideration as an alternative, especially if you are buying for a friend’s child. Recommended if with some caveats…

Noisy and annoying
I was not prepared for just how annoying the noise of this axe is. Wish I'd paid more attention to those reviews. However, my 7yo loves it. Not one I'd recommend during lockdown 🤣

Not worth it
Bought as a gift for child’s friend, couldn’t bring myself to give this as a gift, it’s a poor replica of a minecraft axe and makes the most awful sound and in a foreign language. My child kept it in the end but we had to disable the sound - was tortuous!
