TUSITA Silicone Case Compatible with Garmin GPSMAP 66i 67i

Bought this device to use for occasional hikes and emergencies. It seems like a great GPS so far. I did find the learning curve to be a bit of a challenge at first, but am slowly getting used to it. Recommend connecting to Garmin Connect, and Explore apps which can be downloaded on you smart phone to get the full advantages of this device.I like that you can used this offline, because I would only subscribe to the In Reach service components if I was planning a backcountry trip, as the service can get pretty expensive. Honestly I could have bought the base GPSMAP 67 and saved $100, but i like having the extra features if I need them.So far this device has lasted a few days on one battery charge with limited use, and still has battery to spare. The display works well even at lower brightness. There's also a fun little geocaching feature i have tested out and really like.It comes preloaded with the US Maps and Topo data. I recommend using a laptop to load any required Map updates through Garmin Express, because it doesn't seem to work well via the wifi link on the device itself. Once you've uploaded them you can use the maps anywhere without an internet connection.The GPSMAP 67i might be the standard in personal GPS devices. It's a solid built, weather resistant unit that provides the peace of mind I am seeking.Positives: Preloaded Maps, long battery life, rugged and weather resistant, bright display, interfaces with smart phone, SD expansion slot, communicate your status via In Reach, SOS featureNegatives: A little bulky, higher learning curve, expensive subscriptions required for In Reach services, wifi updates are buggy

Covers the sides of unit perfectly, protects the main part from scratches and dust, improves grip, and also improves shock resistance in case you drop it. You have to push the power button a bit harder, but that's the only drawback.

bought this for my garmin 67i. the unit slips into the case fairly easily, but not something you'll want to be taking on and off all the time. cutouts for the SOS button, light, usb port, lanyard connector, the top of the antenna and spine connector. the front face screen and buttons are also clear. the top power button and microsd card slot are covered, protecting your card and making the power button slightly harder to press. the all black color covers up most of the orange of my 67i.it will provide some protection from scuffs and bumps along the sides, but you'll want a screen protector for the front. obviously it isn't going to provide any water protection (not even sure why this is a rating option).for the inexpensive price it's nice extra protection. i'm happy with my purchase and can recommend this case.

Fit perfectly. Protects perfectly. Would buy again tomorrow.

I love this sturdy, high quality case. It is easy to grip the GPS and provides a shock absorber for those occasional falls the GPS takes. I would buy it again if it ever wears out which does not appear likely to happen.

Perfect fit, non slip rubbery texture, more piece of mind for the protection an expensive gps.I would recommend to any active outdoors man/women.
