Wonderful
This is such a great little gadget. The led light is so helpful. I bought a couple more so I can give one to a friend. Sturdy and easy to hold. The light really helps you thread the needle. I love it! A must have for anyone who does needle crafts.

Never got to use it
It looked good when I got it, but it burned up in the Eaton fire on January 7, 2025, before I could use it.

Works Well
It's so much easier to use this and put its threader through the eye of the needle than it is trying to do it with the actual thread. One improvement that should be made is changing the color of the threader. Next to a silver needle it was a bit challenging to see if I was positioning it correctly. The trick I ended up using was to position it to side of the needle eye and then slowly move the threader towards the needle eye until the tip flicked inside of it.But even that little trick had it challenges because the threader is thin and very flexible; thus, the slightest extra force would cause the threader to skip past the needle eye and travel to the other side.

I can load 8 needles pull off . It's pricey worth it . I have a quilting to finish up.

I loved it while it lasted :(
This did not even through a month of very low-volume sewing. This was ordered on Christmas day after so much frustration with my Singer machine's auto-threader during the pre-holiday high-volume sewing. I started a new small project less than a week ago and used this maybe a dozen times, all the while thinking, "This is GREAT! It's SO much faster!" Well, today, the wire got caught up in the body and when trying to gently finagle it into position, the thin wire just broke. The frustration with my machine's auto-threader led me to replace it, but the new part is possibly worse than the old. 42 unfinished quilt blocks are on my table and I cannot thread my needle!! SO FRUSTRATING!!This threader is a great idea, especially with the light, but breaking after just a dozen uses speaks to bad design.

Second times a charm?
Worked well for two months, but when I recently changed to John James needles for my embroidery that have a smaller eye, the wire broke when attempting to thread 6 strands into a larger eye needle. Purchasing another with the Hope it lasts longer.

Great quality. Doesn't cut the thread like others I've tried.
I bought 6 of them. One was for a gift. After 3 years of constant use with embroidery floss I finally wore my first one out. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong with Dritz.
